After D3, I'm officially done with Blizzard. Loved Warcraft (the RTS) and Diablo but man can they ruin franchises. I'm sure they'll find a way to turn Starcraft into a cash cow too.
@monk1junk1 @sssephiroth Nothing wrong with that. But you can't have one set of rules for one medium and one set of rules for another. That is all I was saying.
Whilst we're censoring violent games for kids, let's make sure no child below the age of 18 is allowed to purchase a Bible. Lots of violence in there! And kids are so impressionable etc etc bla bla.
@FAIL_TR0LL @sssephiroth @Coren_Larken It is. I'm assuming gaming is on trial here because of the incidences in schools of which the last time that happened in the UK was in the 70s. Overall though the UK does have a higher rate.
@Coren_Larken I don't understand why this is so difficult... Violent games are easily available everywhere (in the UK for example). Yet, no gun violence in schools. Not exactly a head-scratcher.
I imagine any company that does this will lose a lot of customers (I hope). Or maybe it'll cause piracy to go crazy like it did with the music industry. I can barely remember the time I had to shell out 20 bucks for a CD. 99 cents is reasonable. lol
