@HIT3kNology @gamingfrendly @beuneus12 Actually the outcome was up for grabs until the Americans got involved. I imagine the whole of Europe would be hard pressed to compete with the industry and war machine that was mobilised within the states.

@b1gt0ne ps3 in last place? it's sold more than the xbox you know. and the exclusives are much better for anyone over 12 interested in something other than a shooter.

@a140lbstud @Jake518 @wuushew @ahpuck I agree that government has no business here. The problem is they got involved in 1996 when this act was enacted. All EA is doing is supporting the cause for govt. to get uninvolved. Then the rest can be up to the individual.

@MosleyHarmless Well that's obvious. The problem is that any minute now you're gonna get a regular person so brainwashed that they'll say something stupid like "guns don't kill people, people kill people" and think it's the smartest thing in the world.

@WolfGrey Guns make no difference? So am I right in assuming your point is that he would have wanted to kill whether he had guns or not? I agree actually. But I contend that when a person really wants to perform mass murder (for whatever reason, insanity included) they'll find the most effective way of doing most damage. A nuke would be more effective than a knife. Guns just fall somewhere in between on that scale.

Everyday another politician makes a stupid comment. Each one dumber than the last. Why is the video game industry being targeted? Simple. No powerful lobby writing fat cheques to greedy politicians.

@Stefsi91 @SecularSage Washington was a slave owner yes, however, was very pro-emancipation. Just google "George Washington and Slavery" and you'll find that he was in favor of abolishing slavery. However, he did not do so because the newly formed union was still fragile and he needed to keep it together after a bitter revolutionary war. He was proven correct as the civil war threatened to tear the country apart.

@s2i2p2i2o @MXVIII @muffin200 @sssephiroth You do realise that the "banks money" and "your money" is the same thing right? If the "banks money" is gone and you wanna make a withdrawal, they can just say sorry we haven't got your money. It happened to millions of people during the great depression in the 1930s.

When a bank gets robbed, do they get fined afterwards as well for letting everybody down? Oh wait... No.
