It's funny to watch people get upset about someone's OPINION. Granted, Tom does work for a larger "journalistic" site and is expected approach these games with some sort of objectivity. With the nostalgia factor being so hard to express to someone who didn't play the original DuckTales, it's only fair for him to judge the game on face value. I completely disagree with Tom and think the game is amazing ,but I don't try rip the man a new one for writing a negative review.
It really is sad that the author of this article has a biased opinion on the subject. Coming from the perspective of someone who lives in the Southern US, people down here do not accept LGBT or whatever you want to call non straight sexual relations because they are indoctrinated by church and society that those kinds of relationships are not normal and even harmful. I, personally, couldn't care what or who you **** ,but I do acknowledge that some people are close-minded on the subject and are entitled to their ignorant viewpoint. The fact that the author cannot accept others views on the subject shows her lack of mental flexibility, meaning; she has a viewpoint that is ,while more tolerant, fairly ambiguous to explain and thus usually avoided.
Finally, a large dev head whose main focus is making a great game, not selling a game just to make a huge profit. I wish all developers had the financial backing Kojima does; it would let people make what they want, not what the shareholders want.
