While I don't believe in tarnishing everyone with same brush in relation to the refugees, we do implement this way of handling things in a lot of other areas of modern life - There are lots of instances where the majority of people are unable to do something because of a select few who screwed it up.

As an example, some shops I have seen require anyone under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult. They're not saying everyone under the age of 16 is going to screw around in their shop, but some of them do and the best way to ensure it doesn't happen, is to have them all be accompanied by an adult.

In this case, we have a problem with a group of male refugees screwing around in a pool, so for the time being, if you're a male refugee, you can't go in the pool. Race and religion doesn't / shouldn't come into it.

As for the people who committed these ridiculous acts, they should at the very least be deported as it's a clear middle finger to the country that has welcomed them.

This still doesn't address the issue of the culture of these people thinking such behavior is the norm and actually, i don't think it's down to the country in question to be responsible in educating them as to their laws and way of life - It should be up to the individual to educate themselves and up to them to find out and research what is and isn't acceptable.
As an example - I live in the UK, where to legally drink alcohol I have to be 18 or over. So, lets say i am 18, (I'm 30) and I travel to the US for a few weeks. I can't just go ahead and get drunk in a bar because the legal age in the states is 21. It's up to me to educate myself of that fact. I will still be arrested even if I told them that it was acceptable in my own country.

These refugees need to educate themselves as to the way of life in whatever country they find themselves in and if they don't, they need to accept the consequences. They need to know that their own views, laws, religions, ways of life does not trump the ways of life and views in whatever part of the world they're in.

I use OS X. It's totally the best version of Windows that has nothing to do with Windows at all.

Yup.

@seanh: FF7 was cool but definitely not the best in series. Characters like Red 13 and even Cait Sith stood out to me more than the arrogant, ridiculous Cloud and the goodie two shoes Aeris. I enjoyed Chrono Trigger much more than FF7. Even FF6 and FF9 had more interesting stories to tell.

Indeed, it's not the best in series - My personal favourite FF game is 8 and 9 - I'd probably have to lean more towards 8 being my most favourite, and while I don't think FF7 is over rated at all, I think FF8 and 9 are under rated.

@seanh: I played FF7 when it came out on PS1 and ..... it's over rated. It was a improvement on how the last 6 games where. BUT FF8 just made FF7 look completely out of date. And the only reason people made a big deal about FF7 was because aeris got killed in it. There is nothing in it back then or now that made it great. And yes I beat it. All you need to do was have knights of the round with a 3x times use on every ones weapon and the last bosses where easily destroyed. Like the big giant robot I killed in two hits. Was just crazy powered.

Of course FF8 made FF7 look out of date. It was a newer game = | You might as well have said FFX makes FF7 look outdated.

I'm not sure what your point was there. Your point about ''all you need is knights of the round'' is the same as saying ''all you need to do is get to level 99 and its easy''. It's the journey that gets you to that point is what's important. What we have to remember here is that this game came out for the PS1 and millions of people still play the game today, including myself. There aren't that many games you can say that about.

Oh and Aeris getting killed is not why people make a big deal out of the game. They make a big deal out of it because it's a damn good game.

The people who say Final Fantasy 7 is over rated are the people who didn't play it when it was released but rather more recently IE the last decade.

@seanh: The cost point is irrelevant when the goal is to set a benchmark on VR performance. The price will go down when the components gets cheaper.

For me to buy it, it's £500 (GBP) which is $725.90 plus extra for shipping. Benchmark or not, that is a lot of money for an accessory, whichever way you try and spin it.

I still haven't played it since November 30th and then I only played 5 or so hours. I just can't get excited about starting to play it again....

Well, they can, but a lot of it depends on the overall theme of the movie itself - Everything has to fit, and the suit is a reflection of that.

@charizard1605: I'm inclined to agree. I still see tons of people fighting it though. I was really trying to understand why? Some of my fondest memories of gaming are games that include turn-based combat (Legend of Dragoon comes to mind). I'm happy to see it returning and just question why people still fight it?

And yes, I would consider Original Sin 1 and 2 turn-based. And I think you meant Dragon Quest VII and VIII. However, I question the validity of Ni no Kuni being turn-based.

I added another few games to my list. But yes. Turn based combat is still around here. Pity Square Enix (well, the FF side, anyway) cannot see that.

Yup - This is what annoys me most about their games now.
