i have to say i love the anime claymore its amazing suspenseful and gruesome, has some moments where it gets deep and makes you feel for the characters and their backstories. it's amazing to see someone such as claire go from a killer that has no remourse for humans, to go to a caring person by the middle of the anime. why they stopped this anime i will never know i wish they could bring it back i would love to get another season of it.

As someone that loves most things Japanese (especially anime) I even found this a bit "odd". But then again there are a lot of weird things to come out of Japan where someone from another culture with different sociological understandings would find totally bizarre.
My take on it is its just the style of the animation in general makes the characters look very young. And there seems to be this attraction to anything cute in Japan which is again probably why its intentionally made to appeal to that sort of "innocent" look.
Innocent but doused in sex appeal I guess you could describe it haha.
I don't think it is intentionally meant to be seen like its paedophilic. I can see why it would look that way to someone who isn't into that particular culture.
Had another account years ago. Met some awesome people back in the days you could make your own group pages. Came back a few months ago and the groups were gone :(
