actulay id like to contridict u, "we cant say without one of these things" yes yes we can, without easy access to automatic assult rifles ...this would not have happened..that is a pure and simple FACT.
ye games are getting much easyer, i remeber my super nintendo controller having teeth marks in it where i bit it with rage playing old games, mabey ive just got older, wiser and have god like gaming skills now, but i think its more likely games just got easyer.
ye some games have mutliple mechanics allowing for more skilled players to have an easyer time, but in general i think the difficulty curve has dropped.
i remeber sony being quoted as saying they will archiceture in place to allow 3rd party developers to enforce liscences on there products should they so wish, so lets just hope thats no longer the case, because they can say "oh ye we wont enforce it...but the developers will =)" isnt any better. the price is good tho i was expecting 500 across the board but looks like itl be affordable to be a playstation gamer again, to bad about psnlive tho
@liam82517 keeping in mind MS has said it will introduce a fixed fee for unlocking used games, and sony will let the developer charge what they want to let u unlock ur game, EA game? why thats 14151235135trillion please kthnksbye.
i think both consoles will use DRM in a BIG way every single company and developer in games atm is obsesed with piracy
this is funny, i think about 85% of people comenting actualy dont have a single clue how used games work, one person said "published dont relise they are funded mainly by second hand games sales" lol....and another said "the greedy publishers just want to screw over gamestop who try to advertise there games" ye because more games being sold dosent help them at all dose it?
heres a clarification. if a game is sold to gamestop (or a GAME or Gamestation in UK) and then said store sells the game back to us gamers, the store recived 100% of the money from the sale. 100%. the publisher the studeo that made it they recive NOTHING! only the store gamestop or game recive the money for the sale.
so lets take MW as an example (im not a huge fan but lets just go with it.) they have options for "elite" passes ect, but mainly they maintain there game, patch it, keep it running, balance it (ok not always :P) and keep adding to the game and comunity, but they are only being paid to do that by the gamers who bought new, the ones that bought second hand have NO RIGHT to clame they deserve any updates or content, they bought it from gamestop second hand and as such they should go to gamestop and ask for a patch or complain the online mode is down for maintenance, since they have contributed NOTHING to the developer. THAT is the real argument for used games.

and the publishers who want to make as much money possable from the game they are selling.
as a few have said before when the latter two fight its usualy us the gamers who suffer, but this time i think the publishers are justified, and it will take time to sort but may well work out for the better.
