Sonic Youth is a band from the 80's(but is still active today). Usually have a really layered, distorted sound.

i just bought metal gear solid 2:substance and from the begining of the game it is very difficult to see snake on the ship.

is it some vid trouble which i am having or is it because the game itself is designed that way.
