according to the board, i weigh 240 lbs, and i at no time am concerned with breaking the board. during ski jump i actually did jump, and it just gives you a zero for that run and warns you not to do it, i did not feel in anyway that the board was even close to stressed. my only concern is that myself or some friends may jump on it, and though im sure it wont break the board, it will eventually wear out the boards ability toaccuratelytare itself. though this is a problem with any scale type device, so it cant really be held against nintendo, and if its being jumped on its my fault.

the box says its can take 330 lbs, however as someone before stated, im sure you can apply much more pressure to it before it breaks, as im sure it was over designed for its rated weight capacity and a 330 lbs person doing some of theexercisesvigorously, wouldexertmuch more than 330 lbs pressure on the board. to sum things up, having the board break should not be a concern in the purchasing of the balance board unless you are well over 330 lbs. my biggest concern is how long i have to wait for skate it.

yes, my friend got a wii, we were playing baseball and had justfinishedtalking about how useless the wrist strap is when he pitched his remote across the room. we both donned the strap at that point, and now that i have my own wii i use the strap when i play games that require a lot of vigorous remote shaking etc. i also use it and let the remote dangle from my wrist when im smoking or drinking beer while playing.

i was at a store today and came across some 3rd party s-video cables for my wii, and decided to pick them up. i was using the composite cables through a tv tuner card on my pc to play wii on my computer. when i hook up the s-video, i cant really notice any difference in the video quality of my wii. i tried it on text and in games, and my roommates and friends are unable to really notice improvement also. i tried changing the resolution of the monitor, there was no way to change the resolution via the tv tuner card. from what ive read about composite and s-video it seems that s-video is capable of supporting twice as many lines on the screen over composite connections, so i was hoping to notice some kind of difference in the sharpness of colors and text.

does anyone know if i should notice a difference, or where the difference would be noticable. the cables are 3rd party and im thinking maybe their quality is **** and that might be my problem, but if anyone else has tried this i would be interested to know how it worked for you.

ati radeon x800 gto2 (flashed bios w/unlocked pipelines, but not currently oced)

benq fp93g x+ resolution: 1280x1024

msi tv@nywhere plus using msi tvr

if there are any other peices of harware that my be affecting this i will be glad to post what im running. im pretty sure im taaking the cables back, just thought id check first to make sure there wasnt something i was overlooking. also if anyone knows of a reasonably priced tv tuner card that supports component input, please let me know, thanks for your time, ratm247
