Its a hardcore game. That can be awesome if your a hard core gamer or a turn off it not. I highly suggest you buy the game if you like deep rpg systems, tough battles and deep and rewarding character progression.

Thats funny. The game creates these real moments that tell a story. I had something similar happen, I was just wondering around and we meet up with this cyclops huge and fierce. After awhile we almost have him dead to rights when I fall off a cliff and wind up who knows where. My party finishes off the cyclops and comes to find me but I can't get back to where we killed him. I am wondering if he left behind some dank loot. So, tonight my part will set out to find the "lost treasure" before trying to escort Mercedes.

The game is great because you can create stories and even if you don't the game will create them for you.

Now all I need is someone to make me one of these three "Sandor Clegane" a big gruff warrior. It will be important to put scars and close his eyes on the left side. Otherwise its not Sandor. Or Tyrion I assume everyone can make him. Last but not least would be Jeor Mormont I assume he would be easy to make and would fit perfectly with my Jon Snow and Daenerys. I am finishing the books for martin!

My GT is Rasputin177 and her level is 11 I believe. Let me fill up her skills a little more if you want. She has 2 rank of the fire and ice attack spell. Fire Boon and Anoydane the healing spell. I will give her another boon skill as well. She also has increased stamina from the her passive set. Tonight I plan on getting her passives filled up along with adding two new skills to round out her arsenal. Most of her gear has been upgraded at least once and some twice.

Or two pawns with the Anoydane (sp? all names are so weird) spell in your party? Both my mages have Fire Boon as well but once I find a new mage pawn I would prefer another element along with Anoydane. If anyone can fill this request please let me know Rasputin177 psn. I have Daenerys Stormborn if you would like a mage in your party.

[QUOTE="fer-"]i like giving skulls out as presents :) they are easily obtained and seem fitting somehowbogart069

haha me too! But I always take the time to rate and send a message. Have any of you rented out a pawn that had a significantly higher level than you?

Yes, I always rent out Pawns at least +5 over my level. Especially when I'm going to do some adventuring into foreign areas and Im not sure what type of foe I will face. Looks are also important to me. I simply wont hire a fugly pawn. I dont care how good the stats are. Yesterday I hired a drop dead gorgeous Blonde Sorceress but her stats weren't that great, so I offset that by hiring a much stronger Warrior. I'll add her to my faves list and hope she levels up some before I rehire her again.

It wasn't my Daenerys was it? (moniker Maya) I like to give things that are useful. So giving something like a flask of oil is decent. Sure, its easy to get but its something they might actually need when there lantern gives out. If a pawn does a good job like above and beyond, I am talking about you midget Brienne of Tarth who is now named Nero. She rocks so I upgraded a sword and gave it to her.

Yes, my maine pawn is named Daenerys and she looks exactly like her character from GOT. I am a strider so she is a utility mage stacked with buffs, heals and attacks.

I have a question though. I could not use Daenerys for her Moniker. (its Maya) Which name will show up when someone uses her? I want them to know they are playing as the Mother of Dragons.

no ones talking. It seems kinda like Dark Souls or SoC monsters. It also reminds me of Narnia characters who have been combined and made much more fearsome. Then their is the usual wolves, bandits and Golbins. I think there might just be a Dragon as well.

If my Daenerys has both Fire and Ice boon will she know when to switch? Has anyone found info on enemy weaknesses? I love, love love this game but no one seems to be playing it or talking about playing it.

Hey rasputin177,

Thank you so much for your comments regarding Dragon's Dogma. I was torn about purchasing the game before I read your words. Went and bought the game today. Thank goodness, unlike Diablo 3 we can play DD and not have to be online. Diablo 1 & 2 I enjoyed very much, but not enough to be forced to play online. Online gaming holds no interest for me whatsoever. Gaming is supposed to be fun. Not something we have to worry about regarding servers being up, some fool hacking your character, or worse yet your harddrive. Therefore, thanks again.

Really happy that I helped influence you to get this game. It deserves fans and we deserve to have awesome real role playing experiances.

Nothing is that simplistic. This game is for people who want more then just combat and flashy cut scenes. They want to use their imagination and actually get into exploring a world. It also has many many different ways to build your character let alone your team. For example I am creating my own ASOIAF story within the game world, that along with the huge depth to combat make this a very special game for me.
