Does he mention the combat at all? I am all for great narratives in video games but I also need to have a combat system I enjoy playing. How is the combat? Are there skill trees and loot?

So, does anything carry over if you die? It will kill me to get some awesome magical sword that has great stats and even more important, looks sweet and then lose it and have to start all over if something goes wrong a few minutes later.

I see the Gamespot comments section is still the biggest and best collection of dicks and pretentious douche bags around. Its comforting to know something's never change.

@ntomatas1: BloodBorne is my favorite game of last year but I have to say I still really enjoyed Fallout. For me it really gives you an immersive role play experience. It does not have the art direction, amazing combat or mystique of Bloodborne but to be fair they are very very different games. I respect your opinion and I am sure hype and pedigree did play a role in the score but in my opinion anyone who truly believes gamespot was "paid off" to give it a high score is absurd.

@g_vakarian Seems pretty simple to me man. The game has limited features but offers plenty of depth within those features. Just because a game has a laundry list of features does not give it depth and the reverse is also true. Soooo, yeah that is how that works.

Could someone explain "banking"? Do you earn a bonus as long as you don't spend your XP? Can you still save your game at the "not bonfires" and still get the bonus if you don't actually spend any of your points? Or does it reset every time you visit a "crystal bonfire"? Also does the bonus work on loot drops? Does anyone put points into Luck?

Why was my comment defending the score and review erased? No swearing. The only thing I can think of that makes any sort of sense is that he thought having a comment like that would make it seem like more people were complaining than actually were? The post was meant to be in regards to the last few weeks of reviews not just this one. If no swears I don't really like deleting feedback to try and guide perception.
