I heard max pain is where stranglehold got the idea, but i'm looking for a similar type action game.

I wanted to pick up a good racing game for the ps2, preferbly street racing and I was thinking about Midnight Club 3 or the Need for Speed Undergroung series

Games like the NBA 2k Series, Madden Series, MLB 2k series etc. all seem to have the exact same everything, but hav updated rosters, with the exception of MLB 07 the show(great game by the way). These titles seem to refurbish the same game and add a extra year on it.

Then their are games that are made on the ps3 and 360, and then ported to the ps2 and wii. The ports to the wii and ps2 are all ways horrible.

I know that a lot of the population of gamers are still sticken around with the ps2 and company's want them to crossover to the next-gen, but wouldn't company's make more money if they make a good game for a system that all ready has an established fan base and the most number of systems sold.
