Red(meaning you) killed Blue's raticate. every time you face gary he always has a ratata/raticate on him. but after your battle on the SS anne the next time you find him is on lavender town which btw is the town specifically made to be a pokemon graveyard and his raticate is nowhere to be found ..

cubone-> marowak ->Khangaskhan... however since the story of a pokemon dying and wearing the skull of the deceased mother(kanghaskhan) is somewhat too grotesque for nintendo standards they swept the concept under the programming rug and pokemon 000 was born ... aka MissingNo. proof of this is when you level up missingno. it turns into a kangaskhan

and a bit more from the top of my head ... Ash's japanese name is satoshi and gary's japanese name is shigeru which are the names of the pokemon creator and mario creator respectively (satoshi tajiri, anyone in these forums know who shigeru miyamoto is ) ash is sort of in satoshi and Gary sounds liek shigeru(the geru part at least)

also pikachu's speech is consistent enough that he makes certain speech patterns that are recognizable e.g. Pi-ka-pi = Satoshi or Ash, and most of his attacks he makes the same sound for hence its probably the name for it in his language aka Pikachunese ...

also has noone wondered why they show steak and other meat products in the anime yet they never mention where they come from? like an episode where ash was looking for a hamburger... what pokemon is this burger made from then?

my 3ds' paint is chafed already... i hope Kid icarus comes out before my blue 3ds turns colorless... anyway ... the tactic "standing" on its own hasnt been very fruitful for nintendo lately ... even though theyve been doing it for god knows how long... other consoles have releases the saturate the market so folks get confused in which to buy ... and there isn't only one type of person so choices are very good to have... Kid Icarus coming out with ohter titles will salvage the 3ds ... asap

Ive been to the sticky where the link for the site where I can test if i can run games are... I tested for Dragon age 2 and i failed the vid card part ... HOWEVER ... i did the same thing for Dragon age origins ... and I also failed ... BUT I;ve already finished the game 3 times now on the same computer ... so i can run it fine... so my question is if i can run Origins can I run DA2 as well? Im not really knowledgeable when it comes to computers much so any non-technical explanation is really encouraged. Thanks!

well as a veteran DotA player i agree there are a lot of unforgiving people out there... (me including but only in game) .... the game is HUGE in asia (im asian) ... so play in servers that are in asia specifically phillipines and singapore... you wont even understand them trashtalking you ;p ... but if you observe your teammates closely you can learn a lot of stuff... i suggest playing with chracters that are easy to use before you go play with the ones you really like ... Skeleton King is a good example he only has 1 stun/nuke and his super is passive... but of course in any endeavor pratice helps... so there enjoy playing :D

Im planning on getting the ultimate edition because I cant do all the microtransactions the DLC's and awakening has to offer... then Im getting dragon age 2 .... my question is though will my first dragon age installation be overwritten? and all my data be destroyed?

the worst thing about the 3ds is the position of the pad and stick/nub ...

there will be but its still another waiting game .... i honestly am getting tired of the waiting game... the folks at nintendo recognize they had a weak a very weak launch for the 3ds but they arent doing anything to rectify it... its gettting sad really .... the only good release theyve had is links awakening and the proper game lineup isnt stellar either...

when ganon gets revived again youre gonna regret selling your copy ...

also, talking about investment... getting almost half your money isnt really a good comeback because you technically rented the game for 3x the rent price... and you bought the game while not having utilized the whole software... see where im getting at here? youre on a negative on both ends ... even if you get half the money back you still "rented" a game for 20 bucks ...

Here's my situation. I am upgrading (again) to a newer DS. I have decided to upgrade to the DSi and bam, comes the 3DS. I have the DS lite, phat, and I had the DSi (used, given to from a friend for free) but I decided to give it to my cousin because I knew he wanted one. Badly. Now I want a new one. I am still on my DS lite, but now it's becoming obsolete. I have looked at everything, but the price is too high. Is it worth the price?

I know the upcoming games, and the ones out now seem to be, not so great. Here's what else I know:

-It has backwards compatibility

-It's battery life is very low (for me, considering I travel a lot for hours at a time and I play my DS every single day)

-Three cameras

-Not as big as the DSi XL, but bigger than the DSi

-You can turn the 3D off, but it makes not a lot of sense to me. You paid almost $300 (I'm not sure the converted amount) to play something 3D and not play it in 3D? Feel free to expound :P

-I have read studies saying it's bad for your eyes, or causes strain. Does it do that for you?

-The e-Shop looks very appealing and worth it

I have done heaps of research, but I'm still skeptical.

I don't know. Should I start with a DSi or a 3DS. Thanks in advance. :)
