Future. Eversince the 80's and 90's (Judge Dredd movie with Sylvester Stallone forexample) already, people have been after a true 3D experience. Though, i'm disappointed that Facebook accquired Oculus.
Well, then he has to fire that Suit who decided that it would be better if RAGE adapted the Modern Military Shooter design, instead of staying true. The suit who was responsible for adding healthregen in Rage, despite Carmack speaking how RAGE would not have healthregen and stuff like that.
I'm now sort of officially scared because OR is owned by FB, because i feel that when it releases, it might actually include some sort of retinal scan thing? Retinal scan would be a great way for Facebook to gather some truly private information. Maybe the next thing is to make a device which requires hands, so that they can have peoples fingerprints..
I ain't interested in this anymore, since i know that Google forexample actually does gather private information from people, so why might some big corporation also not be interested in your fingerprints?
Though, it didn't have the kinda sprint i'm talking about. CoD sprint and Half-Life 2 sprint have a difference. CoD sprint makes you a vulnerable idiot who cannot shoot, HL2 sprint lets you sprint and shoot. Quite significant difference.
Oh nothing, except it slowsdown the gameplay drastically. When you have a game with sprint which disables firing, it's always the same boring "run without being able to defend yourself". No more fun DOOM/Serious Sam gameplay where you move 50mph because it's fun and shoot 100% accurately while running because it's fun.
I'm all for sprint when it comes to realistic games, but Duke Nukem Forever nor Rage are even remotely realistic and yet they have sprint..
