What? Are you that desperate? The game looks phenomenal. They are also adding real time thunder and lightning in and around the track too. That is 3D lightning. It's a shame so many entitled people are pissing on this game. It's doing some great stuff. But of course people are focusing on the lack of things it does and cherry picking. But hey, it's System Wars. It's to be expected.

See I agree there. They delayed it 10 months and it still needs patches to be finished. With only 50 cars to boot. That is all negative vibes. Agreed. But I am just excited to play some immersive racing in thunderstorms. Free with PS plus too. I'll be getting the full game on the 10th of October tho. Also I need to sub to PS Plus soon. I haven't been playing my PS4 very much at all since I got it last year.
It's not like a game that needs patches to fix stuff, i get that. patches fix things like exploits or bugs, the game is unfinished, they clearly know it.
It must be just desperation to get it out, though if it tanks because it is poor or unfinished, how will that help anybody in the long run?

No the game is finished. The weather patch includes weather (dynamic rain, snow, thunder/lightning), and photo mode. Those are additions if anything. The game at launch will be a finished product. All the races and cars will be there at release. The weather is simply an addition they added later on in the dev cycle. So it's not quite bug free yet. But the game is fully usable at launch. It's a full game.
No, the game is unfinished. Trying to spin it otherwsie does the community as a whole no good. Developers keep releasing bullshots, unfinished, and DLC heavy games and the fanboys defending this just goes to justify it.
They have said on record at a pre-launch event that they wanted to include dynamic weather from the get-go but they didn't have time to release it with the retail version; so it's oficcialy a patched in fix, not a "free update".
I'll not cancel my pre-order but damn this is a big disappointment considering this has been in development for years, most things coming out from people are quote negative already and the game seems very thin on actual content and fun. 7.4 on metacritic after 47 reviews....
Xbone + Forza + the new Plex announcement is making a swap tempting.
