The 360 has been so profitable with live and kinect that it is entirely possible. It definitely couldhurt Sonyif they released a new console a good 2 years earlier than the next Sony console (if there is one) as I'm sure every teenage American boy will want one. I have been wrong before though.

It will be my only purchase of the Spring, over L.A. Noire, Crysis 2, and Homefront. And I've already got it pre-ordered (Fallout pack FTW).

Hey TC, have you considered getting a 560 ti factory OC'd when they come back in stock on newegg? They're about the same price as the 6950 2GB.

I agree with what has been said above. You definitely want an HD monitor but those can be had for around $149, as seen below.

Played the game for about 2 hours today, and it's pretty awesome. I got the 4 barrelled shotgun, and it is soooooo much fun to use. It actually cuts people in half. So far, I wou;d probably give it about an 8.5, but I'm curious to see how that score will hold up. One thing that reviewers have mentioned is that the game gives you a bunch of new guns in the beginning, but then doesn't give you any new ones towards the end. Judging by the number of guns I've gotten so far, this is probably true, but it's actually a pro for me. Lets me get to spend some good time with each gun.

I am actually building a new rig just for BF3, so yeah.

That looks like a really awesome build. I am building my first rig in the fall, I can't wait.

Just one thing, have you considered an HD 6950 2 GB for your gpu? Performance-wise, it's almost exactly similar to the 560 TI, but I guess you can unlock it somehow (google it) and it will have the exact same performance as an HD 6970, which is $340.00 gpu. However, this is only with the 2 GB. Oh, and with the rebate, it's actually 10 bucks cheaper than the 560 TI!
