@Oni_Taedo Oh yeah, I forgot! Lets just all give up and let them pass laws that give us a day by day schedule that must be followed to the tee so that we can all have perfect lives. The government knows whats best for us, after all! We are just to stupid to make any decisions for ourselves - can you imagine the chaos if we were actually able to choose how to live our lives the way we wanted?!
@Undietaker Of course I know that, and that's a serious problem. What I was saying is that I cannot believe that there are people that support legislation that has the ability to control their lives, especially in such a direct and intrusive fashion.
There are actually people out there that their government should have the power to be able to run their lives for them...? That just blows my mind. This dictating of peoples' lives, especially in such a direct manner, can never be justified for any reason. Overlooking the simple fact that this type of law can only be enforced by seriously infringing upon peoples' liberty, this sort of legislation is a serious threat to the Korean people's freedoms and rights as human beings to live (and parent) in the manner that they see fit. I wish the best for those who are standing up against it.
@istuffedsunny I cannot even comprehend how you can come to the conclusion that it would be better to forgo your freedom and instead have the government decide how you must live your life for you...
@krishnanmc3 I am sorry, but who are you or anyone else to say how someone should raise their kid? That's fine if you think that it is bad parenting to allow that sort of behavior and in fact it probably is - but at no point does it get bad enough to create a need for the government to begin punishing those who do something that it deems "a waste of time". This sort of act by any government is a direct attack on liberty and freedom, and needs to be stopped before it gives precedence that allows that government to pass and enforce laws of much greater consequence that would directly dictate how peoples' lives have to be ran.
