Last N I had was 64, then I went to xbox(but broke too much) these days I'm on psp and soon vita.

I always thought it should be PC + handhelds. Smartphones are getting stupidly powerful these days and include 720p/1080p HDMI output. The only thing lacking is buttons and I blame Apple for that BS. PC just feels like the proper thing to game on at home. Most of the serious games on PC, more of the simpler or casual games on handhelds.

It depends I used to game on pc but dealing with drivers,updates,hardware like video cards, and glitches all the time got anoying. Like I tried playing need for speed underground 2 an old game closes out before it even opens LOL After pc I went to ps1 but didn't like the contoller then moved to xbox but hated them breaking down all the time. Now I use psp and I still feel like I'm playing a home console just on a small screen and I can hook it up to a tv if I want to.

The 3ds doesn't need any more ram than 96mb's, because it doesn't need a huge operating system to be run at the same time.

EDIT: the 3ds is pretty powerful for a handheld gaming system. Like a handheld wii/xbox. with 3d thrown on top of that.

actually, it has 128 mb's of ram. I only listed 96 mb's because that's what it'll be using for games.

And for a pure handheld gaming console, that is alot of ram.

I'm amazed at how great these 3ds games look, starfox 64, mario kart 3ds, zelda OOT, paper mario, MGS 3, Resident evil, ect.

They look seriously impressive.

Considering psp2 is supposed to have a 1gb or ram 128 isn't much but I'm used to seeing Nintendo with outdated hardware of the 3 consoles. BUt they are marketed torward kids so can't make them too expensice LOL. Like 3ds videos I've seen of resident evil look about psp quality and its 5 years old.

On the 3d note u can shut it off on the 3ds so I've heard. 3d is hard on my eye's

I'm not a fan of micorsoft or Nintendo consoles. For series I only like the first metal gear didn' tlike the sequels. Gears of war looked way slow paced lame. Also not a fan of guitar hero or any of those type of games. Monster Hunter was the last game I tried and didn't like but I'm not a rpg fan.

I am a fan of tom clancy games like (my fav splinter cell or raindow six and ghost recon) need for speeds, god of wars, tony hawks, resident evils,star wars,star treks,silent hills,spidermans,coded arms,resistances

I was dissapinted in xbox when they keeped breaking down all the time. Judging from how often my cousin and friends 360 break down I can see nothings changed glad I use psp.

Sure, if they want to, I have no problem with it. Infact if they released a Halo for it, I'd bet about 3/4 the System Wars' 360 fanboys would stop bashing the 3DS.bbkkristian

Only if it looked and played good which I don't see happening. It's kinda hard to take nintendo seriously when they target kids with cheap hardware and E rated games

I haven't had a home console since and phone games make me laugh
