I will get a Vita as soon as the largest memory stick is cheap enough. I refuse to settle for a measly 4GB stick. That would hold like 2 Vita games at most. Or I could fit 3-4 PS1 games. lol

I'm going to pray for a new redesigned Vita at E3 and hopefully reduced memory stick prices by then. And I think only the Sony sticks work with it? It would be nice if Sony would let others make sticks like sandisk or whoever so I could get them $10-15 cheaper.

EDIT: Just checked futureshop. 32GB for $80. LMAO. Looks like I'll be waiting a long time.

When 3rd parties made memory cards on psp they were only a few dollars cheaper.

I don't like the memory card prices either but I am not the type to wait long as I can afford it

Analog is better for movement variable speed where on KB only 1 speed outside of being crouched, etc

I never liked using kb for games, now the ms I didn't mind though I still prefer analog.

How often in a game does this help though? Only time kb movement annoys me is if I'm following an npc who isnt moving at the same speed.

In mp everyone usually moves at full speed.

A lot for me since I prefer stealth

Using aim assit is optional in most games. Mouse and keyboard take less skill than a controller without aim assist

I love/ hate the fact that when playing on PC, a player you're shooting at will swing around in a split second and kill you. It's crazy how fast and accurate M+KB can be. It's also hilarious.

Aimbots or some variations are usually the real culprit.

Using a KB&M isn't better than a controller. It all depends on what youre used to. If a diehard bf4 player on the PC with max rank and huge kill rations got on a ps4 and tried playing they would get their ass handed to them.

When playing a shooter its the player that is skilled, not their method of input to play. Its all what youre used to using.

and if a really good console palyer played on PC with a mouse the same would happen. All that proves is that people do badly with what they're not used to, It doesn't prove which is the better peripheral.

Mouse wins over analog sticks because it's 1:! and you don't rely on moving deadzones like a stick does. A stick moves at different speeds depending on how far you push it because it moves a deadzone instead of a 1:1 movement. A mouse moves with how fast your hand does allowing for quicker responses and a 1:1 relationship results in a finer and smoother aim

Analog sticks however ARE better than a keyboard in regards to moving I think, there's not a world of difference like aiming but I like the full 360 movement of a stick over the specific directions WASD limit you to. But then again I do like the extra buttons of a keyboard enabling faster switching of weapons etc.

You get a full 360 degrees of movement with a stick compared to the north, east, south, west of the WASD.

Ok. This is pretty dumb. Why would you want a 360 degree movement in a shooter ? You only need forward, back, strafe left/right.

WASD actually does have a 360 degrees of movement if you use it along with mouse view adjusting. With the mouse you have a full 360 degrees of movement. Just press W and with mouse you choose the direction. Besides WASD control puts more keys to your disposal. If PC had an anolog stick for movement then your whole left hand would be busy only to control the movement.

While with AWSD control you just have more keys at your disposal: the little finger lying on the shift while the big finger on the white space, the rest, on AWD, always ready to switch on Q,E, R, T, F, G, Z, X, C, V, CTRL, and ALT, 1,2,3,4,5.

Which control scheme allows a bigger flexibility than that ?

It's perfect for FPS and most TPS.

Not really as humans we can move more than just forward backward left and right which is rather robotic like if you ask me.

unrealistic weapon movement? You think a sluggish analogue stick is akin to "realistic movement." I hope i misread that. If our troops in the middle east were being controlled by gamepads they'd be dieing left and right.

I like to think M&KB emulates the movement of an eyeball more then anything. Its far more immersive. Especially on a game like Outcast for instance where there is no gun.

Yes we are not superman.. I understand if you like that type of control. But i consider it unrealisitc

I picked the 3DS XL over the Vita. Vita just can't compete in the games department. Pretty much every game on the Vita that interest me is nothing more than a watered down PS3 game like Uncharted for example. Well I already have a PS3.

Long as your happy...but for me 3ds just can't compete in the games department.

I want consoles series on the go which ps3 can't provide. Some games being watered down doesn't matter to me when other portables like 3ds are even more watered down

I prefer just having 1 control setup and I don't play games as much as others do to justify the cost of having more than 1.

When halo came out there wasn't many shooters on console yet. It set the standard in many ways for shooters even today.

Does it not having competition at that time change anything? Not IMO I rate the game not based on the competition it has

Halo was at the time perfectly capable of competing with the PC shooters of the late 90s/early 00s(for a brief window mind you), not necessarily better. However it was easily in their ball park. What it lacked in depth, it made up in other spots. Killzone Mercenary on the flip side isn't exactly a game that would stand tall against its console/PC counterparts. It would be their inferior by a good margin.

Home consoles are fairly comparable to pc with what they have in common though.

Most of the vita games I play as good as they did/do on home console, outside of shooters which are their weakness but the gap is getting smaller.
