If you can, buy the original xbox version. The two Double Agent games were made by completely different people (I think the original xbox version was by the people who did Chaos Theory) and play completely differently. The story lines are generally similar but all the details are so much better in this one than the 360 version. It feels more like Splinter Cell to me, and there are more co-op levels ala Chaos Theory. There are already 5 SC games on the xbox. Crazy!

It's already been announced that all of them will be included for free in Fable 2. You'll just be paying extra real money to start the game with extra fake money.

If you're into Marvel, there's Ultimate Alliance. Lots of characters to choose from if you get the Gold edition. Decent amounts of fun for 4 players.

xbox 720? where did u get that from? that sounds stupid. sorry kall5ter08

Yes but so does "Xbox 360". The only reason they called it that instead of something decent is that was the winner in a poll that they asked non-gamers to take. Do you really think that they wouldn't put serious consideration into calling the third xbox "720"? It certainly sounds like a bigger number than 360. And it willdefinitelysound like a bigger number than it's competition, the PS4.Sounds exactly like what Microsoft's marketing department would want to call it when it eventually comes out.

Yeah... I hate it when reviewers are swamped by one of the busiest video game release seasons in history, especially when it's getting towards the end of the year when everybody is worrying about Christmas and spending time with their families. They're so selfish for not burning themselves out by playing video games 24/7.

Why can't they just play a couple of hours of each game and get a review out straight away? Oh yeah, because then you'd whine and complain about that too!

You will not find a single online review site that gets every single game reviewed on time, they all have priorities. Why don't you loosen your purse strings and rent the damn game you're interested in and make up your own mind instead of being a slave to other people's opinions?

Or you could download the patches from Microsoft's website and burn them on to a cd so you can install them without live.

isnt the 4th dimention 'duration'?jack_michael

More accurately, the most widely accepted definition among real scientists for the fourth dimension is just "time".

You look at a game like Blinx or TimeShift - those are 4D games, whether people like it or not.

This article showed a video with 4D manipulation (the tiles in the tub) but the first video showed absolutely nothing. It claimed to have real deformation of the wood under the rain, real rusting poles, real degrading light bulbs. None of that was shown. Hell, none of that is even needed for a game. Nobody is going to complain if you only have a time trigger that says at a certain point, the wood breaks, or the light goes out.

I didn't even bother reading the rest of the pages.

same eyh?! I guess 720p and 1080p is the same then, THANKS FOR CLEARING THAT UP

NaiKoN9293

Why don't you calm down before you hurt yourself? I have no idea what the hell you're talking about but both HD DVD and Blue Ray are capable of 1080p.

Anyway, to the question at hand... Yes, I have the add-on. Comes with 6 free movies right now (King Kong in the box and 5 in the mail) so it's a decent way to start your HD library. I tend to have plenty of expendable income, though. I pretty much bought the player as an excuse for buying the ultimate collectors HD version of Blade Runner in just over a week from now.

I'm pretty obsessive about audio-visual quality so I get a lot out of it, having HD movies is really, really nice, but it's also really obvious that the quality isn't that notable for most people. If you sat the average person down to watch an HD version of a movie one day, then the SD version a week later, they wouldn't be able to tell you the difference in most cases. Add to that the fact that most people don't even have a way to watch HD content (I have a friend who just purchased a 360 and needed to hook it in through his VCR because his tv only had RF inputs... time for an upgrade I'd say) and you can see why this "HD war" isn't really going anywhere at all.

I'm being completely honest when I say you'll be dead lucky to get maybe $15 out of it. The games that come with the new 360s are seperate discs but they come in the same case, so you'll have to get another case (and case insert if you actually want to sell it). Another issue is that it is the original version of the game - a newer version came out that includes the 800 microsoft points worth of downloadable content that you'd have to get seperately with the package version.
All in all it's a really undesirable game for anybody to buy on it's own. Edit: And by game I mean version. I actually think it's great fun with three other people in the same room.

I used to play on live but I can't stand the people on there. Now I only play split screen and system link with my actual friends or single player. It's a lot more fun for me that way and my 360 gets a lot more time out of me than my Wii.
You will not have a problem not going online and still being able to have fun, believe me.
