@Corrupted_Wolf Like I said before it should be, "the depiction of violent" games flooding the market not violent games doing so. So many games have violence in them with it be so called "realistic" games or cartoony games. The problem is how that violence is depicted! If he is going on about how terrible it is that violence rules the waves in video games that is just stupid as he too makes games that have some level of violence in them too (for example, Link uses a sword to kill his enemies- plus swords are way more brutal and violent than guns). One says, "Oh but that is OK because Zelda is a fantasy game or cartoony. That has nothing to do with it or hides the point. It is still violent all the same. However, the depiction of violence is the real issue and how graphic it is. If anyone had made an argument about that it would be just but to go on a PR mission about how terrible violence is in games is silly as most video games are violent!

@Daco Yeah that does not excuse them for not being violent. There are people out there wrapped up in knife crime! Not blaming video games for that I am just saying blades are still relevant today!

@VirtualTofu Yes then make like 30 sequels of the same game but then blame shooters for flooding the market. But it is OK his fanboys will help back him up because they think in turn Nindendo will pack them on the back and hand them a cookie for doing so!!

@Solace427 Oh Valve are such a good company. Making and coming up with Steam is such a wonder idea. Also they too helped to bring back the indie game market. Valve do great things. And you know what? You never EVER hear them talking about stuff like this or creating silly drama. They just get on with it and do not whine whine whine. Plus their PR work is genious :P

@BasicLogic I also feel when Nintendo like to raise this topic it is just a PR stunt and a way to sell their name!

@jinzo9988 So the real issue I think is not that something is violent or not it is the way violence is depicted in games. Doesn't matter if it is "realistic" or not, besides no game ever is realistic.

I always thought it would be cool to have an art programme machanic embedded in story based game! Something like Okami but more in-depth.

@Solace427 Yeah and a puzzle game with a story too like Portal. These game test the player but then would engross the player to. Or how about a game where the point to it is something so boring or stupid but made funny. I mean a game where the point to the whole thing is something people would not think could make a good game. But because it has a funny spoof like take on the idea it becomes interesting. The problem is publishers have no faith in creativity now a days!
