a lot of people have been waiting for that great FPS on the DS since the DS was announced. with a lot of these games though, they don't hold up to well to more modern FPS games. have you played goldeneye lately? they would have to completely re-do the AI, not to mention some minor level design flaws, but that is the essence of the game.
Wouldn't it make sense to play the game before starting to hate on GS...
i just had to quote this because its so funny. you didnt ever say would or if. ?. and what is the point of even considering reviewer scored if you are just going to buy it and lie to yourself if it did get bat reviews?

Keyword "Would" and "If"I am not hating GS. I am saying I don't think i would trust them if they rated it that low.
At first, I was pretty apprehensive. But I seriously doubtNintendo would just tack motion controls onto a game, much less a Zelda game. I'm sure they worked hard on making the controls as intuitive as possible.

i agree with this, its just that i hope they didn't have to work too hard to make the controls intuitive. if you have a working control scheme, then decide to try a touch-only apporach, and if that takes too much effort to make it solid i dont see much hope for the scheme.
i didn't care for the way starfox on the DS tried to do it. im sure they wouldn't botch zelda with something so sensitive as the control scheme. maybe i am not an ideal DS user, but i like to use the touch screen as little as possible. i don't think zelda needs innovation at this point, there isn't a drop in sales or anything. i am a purist, and i want button controls. i know this game will make me a believer tho.
look, i know many of you are already groaning just by reading the topic. but i think it is beggining to look realistic. many of you will say the game was nothing great, but numbers don't lie. Numbers 1,2,3, and now 4 are being remade. They are going right up the list. It is no secret (just look at some of the PS3 topics on here) that Sony is pissing some die-hard loyalists off. Ever since they showed the opening sequence as a PS3 tech demo a couple E3s back, its been in the minds of so many people. Square-Enix is banking off the FFVII title (with the movie and upcoming seires of spin-offs), so wouldn't it make sense to remake FF7? It may be unlikely, but with all the upcoming games (and considering their release dates) it seems like Square-Enix could be going in that direction.
