Got Splinter Cell Blacklist from the Steam Sale yesterday. Loaded it up this morning to see if it worked and it did!

I downloaded the client and made an account from the Ubisoft website beforehand. While the game was loading, I entered the product key into UPlay and it got activated right away. People also suggested that I disable Cloud Save Sync so I did that too.

If it's not a problem, I might grab Far Cry 3 from the encore sale.

What's going on?! I haven't bought a single game during this year's Summer Sale so far! I guess I went overboard in prior years and there's really not much i'm excited about.

On a better note, I did finish Arkham Origins over the weekend. It wasn't as good as Arkham City but I still enjoyed it.

Playing through Lego Marvel right now. 5 bucks today on Steam if anyone wants it. It's so good and the number of characters i've already played as so far is just crazy.

@wiifan001: I feel like I was one of the few people who could not get into Skyrim. I bought it, played probably 10-15 hours and tried really hard to like it. But the game felt like a chore to me for some reason.

I will admit, the random dragon battles were great. Desperately trying to survive and throwing everything including the kitchen sink at it and winning felt great.

Don't feel bad, i'm in the same boat! Probably spent even less time with it than you did.

I usually like RPG's but Elder Scrolls games just don't seem to resonate with me at all. I know this sounds crazy but it felt too open. The main storyline isn't anything to write home about. From what I understand, the game is more about going out and exploring the world while taking on the Guild quests and other side quests.

I'm the kind of guy who prefers an open world that's more story driven but with some quality side content sprinkled in between. Stuff like Assassin's Creed, Xenoblade and Zelda are right up my alley.

I just noticed how freakishly small the 3DS screen is. Today was the first time I played on it since I bought a Wii U last month. I decided to transfer back my MH3U file to play on the go, but I can't stop noticing how small everything is. Even though I clocked over 900 hours in the 3DS version before buying a Wii U, I can't help but wonder how I managed with such a small device. I'm not sure if I can enjoy the game as much as I did on the handheld. I'm seriously considering upgrading to a XL soon.

In other news, I recently bought The Witcher 2, Far Cry 3 and Skyrim for $20. Yay Steam!

SInce when did you have a Gaming PC? :O

Btw, for those of you who got Far Cry 3, have you had a chance to run it yet?

I was on the fence and all the complaints about uPlay scared me off. My entire Steam library has been free of uPlay/GFWL/etc. types of games so far.

A very nice surprise. Never played the first game but was going to try Bayo2 anyway. This is just icing on the cake. :D

@Pierst179: I'm actually watching the Treehouse demo of Hyrule Warriors right now.

So hectic with all the enemies everywhere! Still not entirely sold on the game though.

It has been one of my most anticipated games since it was first shown. I love everything that they've shown besides the official name and release date. I was hoping to play it this year, but if it means a more polished game, I'll get over it. I would have preferred a more unique name though. Calling it 'Xenoblade Chronicles X' frustrates me as much as calling it 'X' because I'll still call it 'X' so it won't be confused with the first Xenoblade Chronicles.

Why not just call it Xenoblade X?

I think that's what the japanese version is called. They should have just gone with that elsewhere too.

Not a bad showing from Nintendo. Just wish there was a bit more stuff that wasn't 2015. Currently interested in:

Pokemon ORAS, Smash Bros 4 3DS, Layton vs Phoenix

and

Bayonetta 2 (and 1), Captain Toad (loved his levels in 3D World), Xenoblade X and Zelda U

That White PS4 Destiny bundle is also looking really nice. Even Xbox One seems slightly interesting with Sunset Overdrive and Halo Collection. It's real tempting to want a new system but I really should be waiting till next year for 1. more games and 2. possibly lower price/sales/bundles.

That's good to hear.

Most people that give the Wii U a fair chance tend to have a good time. :D
