I have never preordered anything and never will. I am not impatient enough that i need to play any game on day 1. Especially not this and previous generation where huge day1 patches are the norm rather than exception. Where games are more likely broken at launch than not.

I don't have that problem. I have a clear idea of which games I'm interested in playing and its usually not more than 20-30 games a year. I do not let myself get affected by hype. So for this reason i don't find myself buying games at launch never to even open them only to find them years later covered in dust and still shrink wrapped. If i buy a game then you can be sure I'll be playing it almost immediately. For this reason i have very minimal backlog. And i don't buy games on launch day ever and never at full price either. I have about 5 games in my backlog and will be finishing them by the end of this year before i buy anymore games.

The only games i think have a chance of scoring 95+ this generation would be Grand Theft Auto VI or Red Dead Redemption 2.That or some indie game comes out of nowhere and takes all the GOTY awards.

Yes i will surely buy next year's Assassin's Creed and this year's too because i like the series just not at launch. I don't like paying full price for games so will patiently wait for a sale. Its only last month i bought and finished Assassin's Creed Rogue and have yet to play Unity. So I'm in no hurry but eventually i will play all of them.

Framerate for me. However i don't require 60fps to be satisfied. Even a stable 30fps is fine. Graphics are not that important for me although i would atleast prefer the game doesn't look downright ugly.

In addition to my OP, i have not played

Civilization

Thief

DIRT

Mega Man

Quake

Unreal Tournament

NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL

Shin Megami Tensai

Its surprising to see that the most common answer is Final Fantasy. That was also the most common answer in the neogaf forum from which i was inspired to create this thread.People not having played a single Final Fantasy game? How's it possible? Maybe they just hate rpgs in general.

Here are some games that will run just fine on your HD3000 laptop.

Doom3,Far Cry 1 and 2,GTA 3,Vice city and san andreas, syberia 1 and 2,Dreamfall and Dreamfall longest journey, Condemned Criminal Origins, Assassin's Creed 1/2 and brotherhood, Mass Effect series, dead space series, most turn bases rpgs and strategy games like Civilization 4 and 5,sports games like PES and FIFA, horror games like Resident Evil 4, 5 and revelations, Silent hill 1,2, 3 and homecoming, Chronicles of Riddick escape from butcher bay and Dark Athena, call of Duty 1,2,3,4 upto black ops2,battlefield 2 and bad company 1 and 2,Bioshock 1,2 and even Infinite, etc

Some of these games you will have to run on low settings and resolution and others will run on medium/high and some others maxed out.
