I don't care what others think but i love cinematic games like Last of Us,Tomb Raider, etc as long as there are no frustrating QTE's and obtrusive "cinematic camera angle" ofcourse..
Does it bother you when people call you Guinea pigs or Beta testers or other such similar stuff ?
More and more games this generation are released in broken, buggy or unplayable state with the most recent examples being Evil Within with its sub 20fps which got a day 1 patch to bring it to 30fps and AC:Unity which was(and still is) broken mess at launch.
So in this scenario you would expect gamers to be more cautious and refuse to purchase such broken games yet more and more gamers are buying into the hype and records are being broken in sales which makes the companies very happy that people are buying their broken games. This makes them more confident and they release yet more broken games to the unassuming masses. They dont even fix the game now that they already got everyone's money and the cycle continues.
I want to know what you guys think of this.Sure its your money and you can buy whatever you want but its negatively affecting the gaming industry and gamers alike.
I like the zombies from the walking dead. They are called walkers for a reason. Imagine if those walkers were replaced by fast moving zombies from World War Z then Rick and group would be dead long back even if the infected didnt turn immediately.
I don't really see the point whether its natural or not. Why should it matter ? If it does not matter which it doesn't then what's the point in discussing it.
Yes i do occasionally. Its a good stress reliever and relaxer. When you smoke you forget all bad things in your life at that moment and calms your mind. However i would not suggest anyone who hasn't started smoking to start because the bad effects far outweigh the good.
Back in PS1/PS2 era the game you bought was the final version of the game whether it was a buggy mess or not.But nowadays those who buy games as soon as they come out are getting the worst possible deal as compared to those who buy it few months later. The games today are unfinished, buggy and have many issues which are oftentimes patched with massive day 1 updates or sometimes few weeks or even months after launch so not only those who buy games at launch have to get it at full price but they also get a inferior version of the game.On top of this we have to pay extra for DLC's which are oftentimes cut from the main game and sold separately.Video game companies are getting lazier and conniving and trying to squeeze out as much money as they can from our wallets to cover their massive budgets.
So i feel we must stop pre-ordering and buying games on release day until we can be assured that the games will be in finished form and there will be no major issues or massive day 1 updates and patches and that we would not be charged extra for DLCs.
