Do you smoke cigarettes OT?

Used to be a chain smoker, now occassionally when very stressed out ( 5-10 cigarettes a week max ).

To releive stress, or to clear mind ( same as Alcahol consumption), but addiction to it is not healthy :)

Nope. I hate smoking with a passion.

The only cigarettes that I like is the Marlboro Red which I'm very fond of, I only smoke them when I'm stressed.

Tried the odd one in the past it was ok, but I didn't see the point in taking up the habit so I don't smoke

Nope. It's a disgusting habit. And I personally don't want cancer.

I smoke when I'm drinking with other smokers, but can't say I really feel much from it.

Though that's how my brother started it, so guess I have to be careful.

I smoked for about three years but I quit cold turkey a couple of months ago and am I glad I did that or what. I never was a heavy smoker, would normally smoke less than half a pack a day but it was still expensive and needless to say not very health conducive.

Yea you absolutely should. I've never imagined I'd smoke in my whole life, never saw the appeal of it and has always been appalled by its adverse effects on health and finance both. Then my life went into perpetual darkness, keeping in mind that it has never been roses and rainbows to begin with. Anyway the point being is, I started smoking like a couple of cigarettes a week. A few months later and I was a fully fledged smoker. I always thought that I don't have an addictive personality but I turned out to be wrong. I didn't smoke heavily even at the peak of my smoking habit but I really relished and savored the habit which always posed the question of what if this was weed or alcohol, an actual addictive substance. I'd never have been able to give it up no matter what. If there is one positive thing I learned from picking up the habit of smoking it would be this: never to test my luck with any such addictive substance that would yield me nothing of advantage but would force me to go through hell at one point or another trying to rid myself of it.

I'm not even close to a few smokes a week really, it's like 1 or 2 every 2nd week, usually when I'm drunk. I don't really feel anything from it to be honest, I don't feel calmer or anything, I just do it so I have something to do with my hands lol.

Cigarettes? No. Hookah? Rarely, when I'm out with friends.

Nope second hand smoke gives me headaches so it's difficult to imagine ever picking them up. Plus I don't really have the extra cash to blow on a weekly or daily habit.

If i smoked i think i be dead by now. what annoys me is and this happened only yesterday walking to shops. I was walking behind some one and they light up a *** which blew towards me behind. I just said thanks for that. The old biddy gave me a right look. I have had a kidney transplant as well so try and keep away as much as i can from smokers.
