@joecollin: I don't really get the Todd hate either. Apparently, he constantly lies? I don't follow what he says that closely, so maybe it's true? Seemed like the internet turned on him around Fallout 76, which wasn't exactly a high point for him (or Bethesda), but you'd think he'd never made a good game or told the truth in his life the way these comments sections usually go.
@loveblanket: Lower as in better than The Phantom Menace? I meant I would give Solo and Rogue One a better ranking than this list does, which I guess means I should have said "lower" not "higher".
I largely agree with this list. Solo and Rogue One would be higher on mine, and The Ewok Adventures being so low hurts my nostalgic heart (even though that ranking is probably accurate), but otherwise I'm on board.
@just_visiting: I'm sure there are more options for getting a new Fallout game than waiting for over a decade for Bethesda or annualizing the franchise. I doubt any studio could build RPGs the size of a Bethesda-style game fast enough for even bi-annual release.
I'd rather wait 5 years between Elders Scrolls games from Bethesda, and 5 years between Fallout games from somebody else. It's been 10 years since Fallout 4, and it's likely to be another 10 before we get a Fallout 5 if the IP stays where it is.
@sladakrobot: Thanks for posting that context. So, in the first (roughly) month of their respective launches, Starfield got more total playtime than BG3. By about 10k years, if my quick-maffs are right. Sounds like Game Pass must have been hopping with all the Starfield players.
And yes, anyone who says 'nobody cares' about Starfield is just projecting.
