@mooglestar: 7 out of 10 sounds about right to me. Basterds had some great dialogue, but kinda got lost in its multilayered revenge plot and over-the-top violence. I liked it slightly more than Django or Reservoir Dogs, but less than any of his other movies save Hateful Eight.
It's bad, all the Prequels are bad, but Phantom Menace I think a lot of folks have more nostalgia for because the hype leading up to its release was huge. People were super excited for Star Wars to come back, and going to see Phantom Menace was something of an event that was a lot of fun, even if the movie itself ended up kind of sucking. With Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, our hopes had already been dashed and there was no expectation that those movies would be good.
@epitaph: Yeah, I never really liked Crysis very much. They way they balanced the suit powers felt bad; you didn't have enough energy to really get a lot of use out of them. You certainly couldn't do anything like that opening cutscene showed. The enemy's powers of observation were cranked up way too high, while the stealth power slowed the game to a crawl at long distances and was massively overpowered up close. And then the aliens in the back third of the game just weren't very fun to fight. Crysis had a pretty face, but that was about it. : \
@gunnyninja: Because you can drop nukes on other players.
I haven’t played since launch, but at least back then you could repair everything with just few button presses if you had the spare parts. Getting nuked wasn’t a real big setback. Maybe they’ve made it a bigger deal now.
