I do believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven with all my heart. Why else would i be going to Bible college, lol. I can understand how people dont want to be told what to do,people just want to be in control of their own lives. They want to be able to do what they feel is right without being told they are wrong. unfortunatlely, they way we think things are isnt always the way they truly are. Jesus did in fact come to the earth as a baby, which we are going to soon celebrate at Christmas, and he grew up, and died on a cross for our sins. From the creation of the universe, this has been God's plan, he knew it was going to happen, but he loved us enough to give us a choice, whether we make the right one or the wrong one, is up to us, we have been givin the answer we just have to accept it.

and i do find it slightly amusing that people would call the Bible a fictitious work. When it has been written by many authors over a very long period of time, and still doesnt contridict itself. Where nothing in the Bible has been disproven yet many of the things in the book have in fact been proven as true history by christian, as well as NON-christian historians.

I will most likely not be checking this thread again, so if you would like to comment or talk or debate with me, feel free to PM me.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so you are saying stuff like Noah's Ark in all its splendor in the Bible is true? Even though it defies physics, biology and numerosu other thigns?

that is exactly what i'm saying, and no it doesnt defy "physics, biology and numerosu other thigns." It actually goes along quite nicely. To the regular person, it may seem strange that raining for 40 days and nights would cover the earth, but if you look at underground springs/rivers and the like, it would be fairly easy for God to cause them to cover the land, which also goes along with Genesis 8:2 "Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens". If the scientific theory of one super continent is true, that would also mean lower mountain ranges which means easier coverage for water. That would also explain how Noah could get two of every animal. The flood would also explain such things as fossils, the grand canyon, and the way the crust is layered because of how the sediment settled as the waters receded.

This seems like a conspiracy theory. Yes, it is extremely difficult for anti-evolutionary findings to be given any credit/their proponents to be given any respect. This is because of how overwhelmingly supported the theory is. It is possible for widely held theories to be overthrown if there is enough evidence backing them. It has been done in the last century.

This all comes down to the "Anti-christian secular/scientific" argument.

Even though i disagree with blackregiment alot, i will agree with him here. If a scientist even mentions Intelligent Design in a way that is not discrediting it, even if they are not fully supporting it, they can very well, and usually do lose everything, and are blacklisted. I recommend Ben Stein's movie Expelled, yes it may be biased, but it does still hold good information.

me and a friend of mine have alot of good memories trying to figure out that blasted game! my brother gave it to me because he hated it, but i thought it was pretty fun.

a game that i absolutely loved!!!! that got a bad score was advent rising. i really got into the story, and except for a few bugs that i worked around it was awesome! and then the end of the story was a cliffhanger!! i want advent rising 2:cry:

[QUOTE="coruscant"]Exactly, and it's the same with forums. Not many people go on forums so to get 711 votes is actually quite a lot.parthohaque

And if the unions are better adevertised then this number will probably skyrocket......i mean most of the exposure unions get is user-generated.....if the website itself gets involved it promoting unions more........

then arises the problem of exactly how to advertise unions more............any ideas?

put them on the homepage, that would deffinitally advertise them!

[QUOTE="parthohaque"]

well if thats the mentality then why create the poll at all?

Dracula68

Maybe I should have said I am NOT to be held as an official word for GS? I figured people would understand "I am not the voice of GS" to mean that:?

dont worry, i understood you :)

[QUOTE="wind-OF-s0rrOw"]I hope they listen. I mean 700 people voted yes to change.Dracula68

That is still a low number to me. Who is to say people didn't use alt accounts or make new one's to vote? I am not the voice of GS but personally I would never trust a poll for those very reasons.

but how many of those votes would actually be alts? i'm sure a few of them are, but i'd bet most are individuals.
