my pc is running, amd 64fx-62, 8600gt xxx, 2gb 533, and vista32. and when i went to install this, windows installer wouldnt, so i installed it on my laptop and copied the installed files to my desktop and played just fine, i just wanted to play so i had the game give me optimal settings for my hardware and it put everything on med. it was beautiful. i'm gonna go by the game later today. ps, when i tried playing it on my laptop, that first ingame movie killed, it wasnt pretty.

ive owned vista since the first week it was out but just got around to installing it, i bought the home premium upgrade and have it side by side with xp, hee hee. it seems to be running gr8 but i had to go and dig out all of my old driver disks for my wireless card and my web cam, and probably my printer when i turn it on, and vista is basically its own service pack already, with how long it was in development and the long beta, it is possible for stupid people to have smart moments.

It seems that most of the ppl that have actually got vista seem to like it, and so what if MS saw something good in mac and decided to borrow it, its the way the world works nowadays, unfortunetly. don't judge lest ye be judged. The only console i really want is a Wii, i need my exercise. PS3 holds no fasination for me and if i happen to have some extra $ i might get a 360, because it can hook to vista and guitar hero 2 is out for it. and i'm trying to save for college, man i need more money, anyone have bills #

I have vista home premium sitting next to my computer moniter, waiting to be installed, I'm just waiting for my next paycheck to buy a better hard drive, then i can have both xp and vista. In all of the searching ive done, many people r saying that with every OS upgrade people say it isn't worth it, and while they may be right for a short time, it soon becomes neccesary. my friends mom has a comp with ME, and it barely works with any software now(then again it is ME). other things that i have noticed, is that many of the problems that people r having, r problems with gpu drivers, which is nvidia's thing not microsofts. The main reason i got vista so soon was because places were having buy vista get other stuff free the first week(i always did like free stuff). Also, most of the people complaining about vista havent even tried it, while at LEAST 50% of the people who have installed it say it is gr8. I just upgraded my comp with a whole new MB, a Gigabyte S series, and a AMD64 Athlon x2 4200+, and 1 gig ddr2 ram, it has an onboard geforce 6100 and that is good enough untill the cheap dx10 cards come out. Before, SW: empire at war had to be at the lowest setting to run anywhere near good and it was still a little jerky(hadn't upgraded in two years). Now it runs smoothly at almost top levels, without anti-aliasing on. I can't wait to see how it all works out with vista (knock on wood).
