[QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"][QUOTE="Andrew_Xavier"][QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"][QUOTE="Andrew_Xavier"]PC fans will say "Higher standards" but, that's a myth, the real answer, ESPECIALLY in the case of Halo and the like, is "LAZY PORTS."Andrew_Xavier
So explain to me why a game on console that's exaclty the same on PC gets a higher score then PC... let's not forget the option to play higher resolution and better image filtering.
So, the higher standards begin and end at graphics? Every other hardcore pc fan claims gameplay is the biggest reason for the higher standards.
Most of theses games are FPS or 3rd person action... graphic have a big impact on theses types of games. I mean everything in the game is the same, except for the graphics...
If you don't think it's higher standards, then please tell me what would be the reason for lower scores?
Graphics standards make sense, since there's higher graphical standards for say, an x360 game than a wii game, but, it's the whole "Higher pc GAMEPLAY standards" arguement that is full of crap.
The PC has an extensive back catalog of games, which neleases should be compared against. I believe GregK mentioned something to this effect regarding Oblivion's review.
