I've enjoyed Bioshock a lot so far (I'm nearly done with the game) but the the early reviews overrated too much. It still deserves AAA though.

If you get a dedicated VGA power supply, you'll save a lot of cash and you don't have to bother with replacing your current PSU. http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Power/PurePower/w0099/w0099.asp thats for nvidia cards, they have one for ati cards too. Just a thought of course ;) I got one and it's awesome.BounceDK

Because he really needs a dedicated PSU for his 6600GT.

The corsair VX450 or anything from the Antec earthwatts line will provide plenty of power.

Some stores allow you to order guaranteed G0 steppings for a slight price premium.

You won't notice a performance difference between the DDR2 800 and 1066, but if you plan on getting Vista 64bit it would be worth it to get 4 GBs.

You should be able to run most recent games at med/high settings, it is a little expensive for the price though. You might be able to save some money if you use this dell coupon which is $350 off $999+. GLC6C8PP?Q4TT5

Go to start->run type "dxdiag" then go to the display tab. It will tell you what graphics card he has and how much memory it has. I'm guessing that he will be able to run WoW at 800x600 with med/low settings.

You should be able to run at high/medium settings fine. But running with 4xAA is a little much.

It's all meaningless as that card doesn't even need 256mb of ram. The actual onboard memory is probably 128mb.
