Nope, can't say I can sympathize with you. I hate camping and I hate sniping. I just can't have any fun doing things like that and when I get mowed down by people doing it I have a hard time understanding how they could find it fun. It seems like (and I realize I'm probably wrong here and you probably find it fun for good enough reasons. This is just how it seems to me) the only reason to do it isif you're one of those obnoxious people who can't have fun unless he's winning.
Okay, so I use an SDTV, and the standard composite cables. Whenever I plug them in there is a slight buzzing noise. Honestly, it's not something I usually notice when I'm playing a game , only when playing movies or when the system is off. Yes, it makes this noise as long as the system is plugged in and my tv is on the input screen. If I take out one or two cables while the system is off, it gets quieter, but it's still there. The noise starts as soon as a single cable is plugged in and doesn't stop until I either set the tv on a regular channel instead of input, or unplug the cable.
Also, there are bars of a slightly different color than the screen that slowly slide upwards. They're really hard to describe. It's like a random sized section of slightly lighter or slightly darker screen is moving up my television. It takes about 12 seconds for one to go from the very bottom to the very top. Again, barely noticeable most of the time. I don't usually notice them unless I'm on the home menu, on a dark loading screen, or watching a movie. Still it's very irritating when I notice them.
Anyone have any idea what's wrong? I could just live with it, but it bothers me to wonder what's wrong with it, and I would be quite a bit happier without it.
[QUOTE="Bluestorm-Kalas"]Bought Red Steel....ughhhh.decepticondevil
Same... but change "Red Steel" to "Spider Man 3"
Ohh, we have a winner!
Me? Um... Bought Trauma Center: Second Opinion, I guess. That's the closest I've gotten to a bad decision with it. It's a good game, I just wish I had rented it instead.
[QUOTE="masterchief2512"]Okay, I need to be more clear. I have both component cables (yellow-red-white) and a VGA cable (which goes into my computer monitor) and neither works. The switch on the component is not on HD, thanks for trying, though.
I can get sound on both setups, but no video.

So you play on an SDTV then?
Okay... hmmm I'm not sure what could be wrong... unless its something wrong with the cables...?
Thing is, I tested out the component cables a week ago, and my VGA was working less than 12 hours before it started. It would be really weird for both of them to crap out at the same time.
[QUOTE="masterchief2512"]People like righteous indignation. It looks good on everybody.So, people like Jeff, huh?

Teehee. Because of your avatar I pictured Picard saying that. Gotta say, it's a lot more meaningful that way.
