Mine was probably when I forgot to put the sensor bar when I first got my Wii. I thought the remote was broken but then I remembered that I had to connect the sensor bar. :P
I bumped my bed onto my TV, which had my Wii on it at the time because I was cleaning my room. It fell off, and the cover at the top broke, thus my Wii to this day looks ugly from certain angles. When I'm not lazy I put it back on and try not to move it because I can't stand to look of a Wii looking ugly.
Bought a Wii when I did. I traded it for a 360. I don't regret the trade, but I intend to get another Wii eventually, because the good games are slowly starting to come.

Me? Um... Bought Trauma Center: Second Opinion, I guess. That's the closest I've gotten to a bad decision with it. It's a good game, I just wish I had rented it instead.

I liked FarCry for the Wii... I mean the graphics sucked but it was a great game IMO. I too punched my dog in the nose. She tried to jump at my fist when I was bowling and I wacked her good. She stumbled out of the room lol. I also threw the damn wiimote at the ceiling... that was fun. Went to swing my arm to bowl, hit my leg, strap wasn't tightened and off goes the wiimote!!!
took it to a friends house, forgot the sensor bar, came back home, forgot what I was looking for, went back again, remembered it was the sensor bar, went back home, picked it up, played some Wii. good thing we live just down the street from each other.
I hit my cat in the head with the Wiimote while playing Wii Bowling. She wanted attention, so she stood up on her back legs and *Whack* right on the noggin. She avoided me for a week. XD
When I brought my Wii, I went ahead and brought another Wiimote and Nunchuck. Now as I look back, I could of, instead of buying a Wiimote on its own, brought Wii Play with the free Wiimote and had one extra game at the start of my Wii journey. Plus, in England, that game is incredibly difficult to get your hands on. Seriously.

Didn't wear the wrist strap, swung in baseball, andd my hands were kinda sweaty from playing for quite a while, so, Wiimote smahed into my wooden dresser.
ps, I too have Farcry Vengeance and thought it was a pretty good game despite the graphics.

I still can't believe Far Cry: Vengeance is such a bad game. What's so wrong with it? Far Cry for the PC was amazing.
Its not a bad game. Just if you play on a hdtv that upscales to like 720p or 1080i, it looks like the worst game ever made. If you play it on a sd or ed native tv, it looks pretty good actually.
I also bought Red Steel and I traded it in, but I thought it was a really good game, it just did'nt have too much that made me want to replay it.
But anyway stupidest thing that I have done is probably trying to look up porn on the wii.......it takes forever for a page to load, and by the time it does my mom walks in, so I quickly change the tv to a show, and she asks what I'm doing, and I said that I was just getting ready to play the wii, just letting it warm up. And she was like oh, ok. lol that was a close one.

I did the opposite, I rented Trauma Center and wish I would have bought it.
i tried teaching my 6 year old cousin how to play bowling and i guess im not a good teacher because he ended up throwing the wiimote like a real bowling ball
im not techniaclly allowed to tell you guys (court orders) but i can tell you that it involves, a jar of peanut butter, electromagnets and some swiss cheese.

Actually, our decision to purchase the Wii was "researched" and very far from "first glance". We liked everything that was said about the Wii prior to it's release, its just unfortunate the system remains yet to deliver, aside from the typical mario drivel and a few ports and sequels of NGC titles.
Sorry, but Mario, Zelda and Metroid are tired, and there isn't much else the Wii has to offer after those.

Didn't research enough then did you? Why, if Zelda, Mario & Metroid are tired, did you go ahead and buy it? You know - or you should know -that Nintendo will always release thosetitles for their system. So why didn't you research on the games that arn't 'tired' and havent driveled on?
I have pretty low ceilings in my basement and im pretty tall, so when i was playing Wii tennis i swung my hand over my head and smashed the lighting fixture attached to the ceiling. Now if i want to play tennis i have to play on my knees =/
After playing about 6 hours of LoZ: TP, I decided to go and download LoZ: A Link to the Past, onto my Wii because I sold my SNES and wanted to replay the game again. As I started to play the game using the classic controller (this really is a dumb thing to do but, I was just so used to Twilight Princess controls) I was swinging my classic controller as you would swing you Wii remote to use the sword but link would not swing his sword. Then I realize that this game is not TP and I am not using the Wii remote anymore. I felt so stupid.
My friend and I were playing Wii tennis and were overegzagerating it and I slipped and fell and whacked my head against the table. We also whacked the wiimotes together on accident really really hard.
