Wow this game looks abysmal. I can already see the shit writing and meaningless choices coming. Then again maybe I'm a bit biased because I never liked the fake horror movies like Saw and other bullshit like that.

It does look great, I'm assuming we're talking about art style right? If that's the case I'd say Okami is more impressive.

Definitely PC. The fanbase for these types of games are on PC and it always has been. Space sims are few and far between on console and I can't remember one ever being that popular. While on PC, games like Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous are getting the most hype. Add that to the fact that there are far more Steam users than PS4 owners and the fact that the PC version will be cheaper, it's an easy answer really.

It's quite bizarre that bioware keeps discussing this issue over and over. They should focused on making a better game, better story and better choices not some meaningless romance. It doesn't matter to me whether these romances are in the game or not and they never bothered me in their other games, but I just don't understand why all of a sudden they seem to be pushing this issue as if this was the first time there were gays in their games. I definitely think the lead writer's preference has something to do with this development.

@Snugenz: the difference is that Alan Wake is owned by Remedy even though Microsoft published it so it was Remedy's choice to put it on PC and they only did so more than two years after the original released. Quantum Break is published and owned by Microsoft so if it were to come to PC, it would entirely be Microsoft's choice. I'm not saying it can't come to PC, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Destiny is coming out on every console and PC eventually (other than Nintendo) and has little in common with Halo other than art style so I don't see how Bungie is making a Halo for Sony. Destiny is more like CoD with the gunplay,ADS and quick kill times and more like Borderlands for overall design of the game. Furthermore, Quantum Break is obviously made by Remedy so it will have similarities to Max Payne just like TLOU has similarities to Uncharted. At this point I can't say definitely how different from Max Payne it will be because we've only seen 8 minutes of gameplay, but based on previews saying that it has an emphasis on using time powers for puzzles in the environment more than action itself and the fact that there are 3 different playable characters with unique play styles as well as a TV show tie-in I doubt it will simply be Max Payne HD.

It might be in my top 20, buy nowhere near GOAT status. The list has FF8 above FF9. Halo Reach is on the list and Halo 2 isn't. FF6 is not even on this list. This is a horrible list. How on earth is Goldeneye in the top 10?

Yet I'm sure you think Uncharted 4 wont be an "everyday shooter" because it's on PS4 right? TC you have seen a very small amount of gameplay and it's fine if you didn't like it, but it's far from the most generic game at Gamescom that just makes you lose credibility to me. There is no way that this looks more generic than what we've seen from games like Advanced Warfare and The Order (atleast to this point) if you were actually interested in the game and could play it, you would know there's a lot more than just shooting in the game just by reading all the impressions people wrote about gameplay. Puzzles using the time powers are a big part of this game. There are three different characters that you can play as in the game including Jack, Joyce and the villain and they all play differently. Story is also a big part of this game and Remedy are masters at storytelling and they've been great at it since Max Payne. I don't think a game that has TV episodes in between gameplay can be judged in such hyperbole with an 8 min clip. Also, I highly doubt the shooting will be terrible as you're suggesting especially considering Remedy has made some of the best TPS of all time. That's just what we know so far about the game and just from these things alone we can already tell it's not an "everyday shooter" and the most generic game at Gamescom.

The graphics are simply stunning, hopefully this turns out to be a good spiritual successor to PGR like the devs are saying. I would be ecstatic if this happened because PGR is my favorite racing franchise, too bad there'll never be another one. RIP Bizarre Creations

@Legend002: they should be scared of not selling as much as Sony that's true, but I think that based on recent comments by Phil Spencer that they're fine with doing well within their own space without outselling the PS4. Uncharted 4 will be a great game, but ultimately Halo 5 is a bigger pull than Uncharted 4 will be during the holidays that's undeniable so there's little reason for anyone to be scared. You're making it sound as if Microsoft doesn't expect Sony to release exclusives. That's odd. Regardless even if Uncharted 4 wasn't coming next year, the XB1 would still get outsold by the PS4 next year, Uncharted has little to do with the current situation. All Microsoft can do is make their lineup as appealing as possible and that is the point of them buying the TR timed exclusivity even though I disagree with this tactic. They're not doing it because they're scared of a single game.
