Your character's build is very important in this game. Easy to mess it up and struggle in PVE. You can always cancel and come back later when more things are ironed out and balanced.
I added 2 sticks or RAM just now. totaling 6GB. when booting vista or win7 the video card returns an error. It's recognized but doesn't work at all. Taking out the new RAM returned it back to normal. both OSes are 64bit. any ideas?
i've been using vista since RC1 non stop. never had any major problems other than some manufacturers like HP and creative refusing to release drivers for their hardware for vista.
half life 1 is a very memorable experience and it is NOT poor quality. the game takes a long time to tell a pretty short story line. I recommend you play it just for the action sequences and because its just so epic. if not you can always check out here
Why is it almost every game tries to update directx? there is like a new version every couple of years and how hard is it to check 9 from 10? i think i had some game tell me that i dont have the proper version and i need 9, even though i have vista. also that whole process is way too long unless there is something else to it(?)...
