I've always enjoyed Mario games more. Even when Sonic games were at their best during the Genesis days, they still felt like B+ platformers to me that were fun to play, but were not in the same league as A+ platformers like Super Mario World. But they were the best platformers available on the Genesis and Sega was great at marketing during that time, so that made the games seem better than they actually were. And then after the 16-bit gen ended, Sonic games got really crappy while Mario games continued to remain great.

I do think Sonic has recently beat Mario in the kart racing genre though. Sonic Allstar Racing Transformed > Mario Kart 8

I don't regret buying any of my systems. They all have positives and negatives. My PS4 collects the most dust and if I had to get rid of one of them, it would be the one to go, but Uncharted 4 alone is going to make that purchase worth it.

I don't think that matters much. Japan has been pretty irrelevant for many years now and I think for the most part, the Xbox's target audience is especially not really interested in Japanese games, so the games would probably sell poorly on Xbox.

No. I played the first Shenmue and it was one of the most boring game experiences that I ever had in my life. I have absolutely no interest in Shenmue 3 and would not even play it if it was given to me for free.

The best combo is to own all of the systems; that's the only way you won't miss out on anything.

As far as best two systems only combos, there is no right answer to that; it's a matter of taste. PS4/3DS may be the best two systems only combo for someone that loves JRPGs, but it is definitely not the two systems only combo that I would pick if I was forced to choose.

I would pick Xbox One and Wii U as my two systems only combo if I was forced to choose. The Xbox One would give me almost all of the great third party games (I would prefer getting these games on Xbox One over PS4 due to the better controller and online service; plus my friends are on Xbox Live) and the Wii U would give me what I feel is the best exclusive library plus the only system where local multiplayer is still alive and well.

I've always preferred quality over quantity.

I don't have enough free time to play games that are just merely good, so I prefer to have a few games that I think are amazing over lots of games that I just think are merely good. This is why I love my Wii U more than my Xbox One and Playstation 4; sure it doesn't receive anywhere close to as many games as those two consoles, but it does have a higher number of amazing games and since I only have enough time to play the few games I think are amazing, this leads to me spending more time playing on my Wii U than my Playstation 4 and Xbox One combined.

I will get Tomb Raider and maybe WWE 2K16. I will have to rent WWE 2K16 first to make sure it is not crappy like last year's version. I thought the Black Ops 3 beta sucked so I probably won't get that game unless there are so major changes. I don't care about any of the other games.

I was hyped for Mario Party 10, but then I saw they were going to force using that damn car again and my hype dropped to zero.

Two games that I was hoping would flop in recent memory were Evolve and WWE 2K15.

I wanted Evolve to flop because it was an anti-consumer game and I thought it needed to flop to send a message to game developers that we won't stand for them ripping us off like this. If the game was successful then it would have set a bad precedent and led to more game developers trying to rip us off like this in the future.

I wanted WWE 2K15 to flop because it was terrible compared to the previous year's version. They made the controls sluggish and removed many features that were in the previous games while adding nothing new. It was a lazy effort and deserved to flop. Hopefully this year's version is better.
