Just want to know which you guys think is better not from a form factor perspective, but when you factor in economics vs specs. Now that carrier subsidies aren't really much of a thing, the smartphones that seem to be good for gaming are astronomically expensive. Let's say you have between 200 to 300 dollars to spend...which one takes ya further? Tablet or off contract smartphone? Oh and I'm primarily on Android but Apple peeps feel free to comment as well. I realize that both devices have their positives and negatives in other aspects, I just mean from a gaming perspective.

You are probably right on that...about the taser that is. But maybe they should. What if it's a 175 lb police officer vs a 250 lb solid muscle perpetrator? Pretty sure most officers are only trained in very basic unarmed combat and in a lot of cases would get their butts kicked unless they have some weapon. So typically they carry a club, taser, pepper spray, etc that should be reserved for non firearm situations. Knife situations could probably use their best judgement...but most probably don't need to resort to firearms. Of course it's always a case by case basis.

Wouldn't pepper spray or a taser be more appropriate in this situation?

@musicalmac: Somewhat...I was considering developing a text based strategy game OR a storylined adventure game. The theme would be apocalyptic for either account though. I played several growing up and wanting to revisit old nostalgia it seems. Text games are what got me to read without actually opening up a book. Heh.

I've noticed a few on various appstores...just curious if actual gamers would consider one? I figure mobile devices are a good outlet for a text based game, especially if it focused on storyline, freedom of movement, more inventive gameplay, etc.

I created a soundboard app for the game The Last of Us. I was wondering if I could place it on the mobile connection board, since it is related to a video game, but not one itself. I'm not selling it or anything, but do plan on using it as a part of an application resume once completed with school so I'd like to try and get it some downloads. Thanks for your time.

Please don't attribute the actions of a madman to be representative of the state of race relations in America. Not saying they are good (they seem to be getting worse), but it isn't really a good judge. If anything, watch the news (and read comment boards) too see how bad it is as of late! :D
