Wow Tom. I'm being completely serious here... Maybe you should take a role with Gamespot that doesn't require a love of games. Maybe you would be better at a behind the scenes role, possibly a higher up position even. You have clearly turned a corner with your gaming, and it's leading to pretty off the wall articles and devastatingly bad reviews. Your Duck Tales review is horrid. Doesn't anyone at Gamespot find it strange that your review that is even remotely negative? I appreciate the content you have given us in the past. but it really does seem like it is perhaps time for you to move on to something that doesn't require a love of video games. Reviewing games is a job of course, but if any reviewer looks at it as simply his or her job, then it is time to move on. It needs to be more than that. Between your last Duck Tales review, and this article, I think it's fair to say you have reached a point of no return.
@mikkeltiedt @kingotnw its not pointless. it has updated graphics. thats the only thing any of us wanted. seriously, all this guy really says throughout the entire thing is the game is too hard.
@Shawn45 @DarthJohnova actually the guy is spot on. Tom is off base here. Clearly he didn't like the original. This is the same game with updated graphics. its exactly what we all wanted. tom is just upset he couldn't breeze through it and get his review done quickly.
i don't get this review at all. every single complaint in this review could be made against the original... Which is one of the most beloved platformers ever... Why would someone play this game expecting something different? If someone doesn't like those games, which is very clearly the case here, why would he review this game? it makes no sense to me.
