@Devil_wings00 Why? It's a choice, nothing more. I personally am a PC/PS3/WiiU/Vita/3DS gamer. I like all the systems. I'll be getting the PS4 on release date. I'll just wait and buy my games on the PS4 most likely, but if people want this option it is a good one. Prior to now, the only option for console gamers to do this was to buy full retail releases twice at $60 each. It's actually a great deal for people playing Madden, since you get to pay $10 to rent the game for 3 months until the PS4 version is released.

Madden is on the Xbox list and not on this one. I would assume it will be available for PS4 as well. Personally, I'll probably just wait and get the games I want just on the PS4 and save myself $20-$40, but it's a cool program for people who don't want to wait.

This list makes no sense when you go to BB's website. I have mine preordered, and my store is on that list, but so is every Best Buy in the state. How do you know if the store is going to be open at midnight or not?

@Necrotron @RandyAU93 tom always slams bith the wiki and the 3DS for their controls. he doesn't care for Nintendo systems m, and has no business reviewing their games.

@nikon133 @kingotnw SOE has more worldwide sales than M$, not by a huge amount though. It really doesn't matter to me personally who likes what. I just want the PS4 to be popular enough that I don't get crappy ports of games like I did at the beginning of the PS3's life cycle. PS4 is really more my speed for a lot of reasons I won't bore everyone with. I'm sure people who buy either console will be happy when they get home. :)

@blackbeltjones @kingotnw For you if you are in EU and you happen to be one of the percentage that get the game? No, it's cool, they need more sales and this is a good way to do so. Sony doesn't need to do that, so it would be stupid for SONY to give away software when they don't need to do so.

Let's not forget the PS4 is $100 cheaper than the XB1 already.

@mcowdery @kingotnw Just to tell you my opinion... I really like my WiiU. It's funny to read places about the system because people who don't own one just grind it into the ground. Truthfully I have not had one complaint about the system, aside from the no full RGB thing, and I have 9 games and use it all of the time. You'll enjoy the system. I've never actually heard someone who owns one complain about it. It's always people who don't own one.

I'm not a fanboi persay, but I think both Sony and Nintendo care a lot about their customers as gamers. M$ sealed their fate with me a few years back after (literally) the 5th time my 360 had to be sent in to be repaired. The machine died, I got upset, then left my apartment about 10 minutes later and picked up a PS3 Phat and have not even considered buying an Xbox since.

Like I said above though... More power to the people who like their M$ systems. Nothing wrong with that, it just isn't for me. I have Windows on 6 computers in this house, so M$ gets my money in other ways lol

@Mark_HD It's not arrogance, it's truth. I wish people would respect it when companies tell them the truth instead of give them some lame PR speak that makes it sound like something it isn't.

On a seperate note. I personally have no interest in the XB1, but I can see why they are doing this since they are lagging behind SOny in a pretty bad way right now. I can also see why Sony has no interest in giving away a free game. He's right, it's stupid. The only difference is he is flat out telling you instead of giving you some lame PR crap. Be thankful they respect their customers enough to be truthful. I'll be getting a PS4, and I already have a 3DS, Vita, and WiiU. I just have no interest in Microsoft hardware. Many do, more power to you, nothing wrong with that. But the simple fact is, this guy is spot on with what he is saying. We just don't usually have people tell us the truth in the media in the US, and it sounds a little abrasive.

Anyone who decides to get a XB1 instead of a PS4 based on any part of this story, or the actions taken by either company described in the article, wasn't planing on getting a PS4 anyways.

Its too bad everyone in the US doesnt get a free copy of FIFA to try. About 7 months ago, I saw a brand new FIFA Vita game at a thrift store for $4. I bought it because I figured even if it blows, at least I can see what a soccer game is like. Long story short... I love it. I actually play it all the time. I don't care about rosters, or anything like that. I pick teams on if I like the country overall, or feel like eating a certain food, stupid things like that. It's just pure fun without all the other stuff weighing you down. If they gave out copies in the US, I really think it could do a lot for the sport because I had zero interest at all in the sport before that game. Now, I seek it out and am learning more about it.
