@phili878: The original PC versions of Rainbow Six, rogue spear, ghost recon 1, and their expansions were amazing. Nothing has ever quite captured the magic of what was the RedStorm development team back in the day. Ubisoft buying them killed the series.

Here is the thing. This is a good game, provided you are interested in this kind of game. The guy reviewing the game simply didn't like it. If the game sounds good to you then you will enjoy it. It's really that simple. Like arcade style gun games? You'll like this.

What the reviewer fails to mention is the fact that it's amazing when using the move due to the fact that the games requires shooting accuracy, has no rectile on the screen, yet the targeting is so precise that you are able to be accurate because it 'feels right' The jump scares are good provided you are into that kind of thing. If you're not, like the reviewer, you won't like that part of the game.

Just use your brain with this one. It is exactly what it says it is and what you think it is. If that interests you, then for $20 you won't be disappointed.

@cojuelodevil: The game is good if you like arcade gun games. Plus it's only $20. The reviewer simply didn't like this kind of game. If you like gun games you'll like it. The jump scares are good too. The game gives you a healthy level of anxiety while playing.

@Cartr1dgeBased What's wrong with hand helds? I love my 3DS. I play it constantly. I also own every other current generation system from all companies (WiiU, PS3, 360, Vita, 3DS, etc). I am happy the game is on the system it is on. These games don't end up on handhelds because of bankruptcy, these games end up on hand helds because a large percentage of people who own handhelds own them to play games like this. Games of this nature don't sell well enough to dump 10+ million dollars into development, which is what you have to do when developing for consoles. It's as perfect a game as is possible. I love it. I do everything optional, and take my time doing everything. I haven't once felt the need to rush out of hurrying to get to a certain part because what I am doing is boring. It's an exceptional game, that everyone who is a fan of the genre should own.

This is NOT an entry level game though by any stretch of the imagination. If y ou have never played a game of this genre, I would start elsewhere. There are less complex ones to get someone used to the genre overall.

I don't own this game, nor do I intending on buying it either way. But I just wonder if Game Spot is intentionally tanking their reviews. More and more now, if y ou look at Metacritic, Game Spot reviews are the exception to the norm. I can only imagine how bad this score would be if it was on a Nintendo platform.

Boosting it my @ss. They announced it a lower clock speed specifically so they could announce a boost. This stuff has been written in stone for a long time. This is just PR BS.
You don't just decide to change clock rates on a CPU and GPU at the last minute, unless you want to go through the RROD fiasco again. The RROD killing my 360 systems multiple times was a dagger in the heart for me getting Microsoft consoles. My original PS3 phat died on me too, but once it was replaced it has worked fine ever since. The 360 had to be replaced 6+ times. I'll never buy a M$ console again.
