@sunyatanada76 They need to have information to release as the year goes on so they don't lose momentum to Microsoft. I would have loved to have seen it too, but I understand why they did it how they did it.
@DeViLzzz What exactly did you expect? It was a console reveal, not a movie or TV show. They did what you are supposed to do at reveals, show games, and discuss the capabilities of the games and the system. Anyone unhappy with how that went is crazy.
@sunyatanada76 @wexorian Oh please... I've been a PC gamer for 20+ years now, and any developer is STUPID not to develop for consoles. With as powerful as the PS4 is, they would be taking stupid pills not to develop D3 and their future MMORPG for it.
@gamingfrendly Honestly, I don't know what Microsoft could possibly show to beat what Sony showed last night. Most impressive reveal I have ever seen. Microsoft has a real problem on their hands I think.
@psdsoldier25 They said their goal is to have Genki cloud gaming support all PS1, PS2, & PS3 titles in the future, but that the PS4 itself, as it stands right now, does NOT support anything other than PS4 games.
@GamerGeek87 @kingotnw That's really what I am saying. I question the idea of having this type of screen on the controller. Again, I love my PS3, and will love my PS4 I'm sure, but this looks like what they did with the Move. Second rate implementation of someone else's idea.
@jcnba28 @kingotnw I really didn't think I would love the WIiU gamepad. I do though. Hell, I even use it while I am using my PS3. I'll often times just turn it on and use the internet on the gamepad rather than get up and use a PC. Nintendo hit it outta the park with the WiiU gamepad.
@eva02langley The PC industry laugh at the console industry? No sir. I am a PC gamer as well as a console gamer, and PC game developers wish they had 1/4 of a console's install base. Neither is going to kill the other one. People who say otherwise have no idea what they are talking about.
@emptycow @kingotnw I suppose we'll see... Either way though, and you have to admit... It's fugly... lol I am first and foremost a PS3 fan, so I am not trying to dis Sony, but I really hope the real deal looks better than this. I'm sure it will. Also, while it may not do everything the WiiU pad will do ( a shame really) if they are going to put the screen on there, why not make it more practical?! The WiiU pad is pretty cool.
