@regulas: Deus Ex also came out on PS2 some time after. Deus Ex: Invisible War was a weak shadow of the original with Xbox use being highly prioritized during its development. While I didn't agree with everything that was done in Human Revolution, I thought it was a pretty solid entry, and was way better than Invisible War, though I still find the original to be the best.
The fact that this game originally came out without the option of manual, is just another example of how much of a joke this franchise has become. Downloaded the free Most Wanted off Origin, that doesn't seem to have it, either. Anyway, I kind of gave up on NFS after Carbon.
@Wiro_: I posted the wrong url(which actually links back to this article). I edited my previous post with the right link. Looks like Eddie's errors are contagious.
It's http://www.gamespot.com/articles/software-pirates-worried-about-pc-games-becoming-t/1100-6433613/ (there's a link to that article in this article as well) "Deuvo" is in the second to last paragraph of that article -- "Kotaku reports that Deuvo is also used for games like Batman: Arkham Knight, Mad Max, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Rise of the Tomb Raider."
I also did a browser search and found it, but like I said, I posted the wrong url, which is probably why you didn't find it. Try typing --- site:gamespot.com "deuvo" in Google. And my eyes are perfectly fine, thanks.
@mdinger: And in the second to last paragraph at "http://www.gamespot.com/articles/software-pirates-worried-about-pc-games-becoming-t/1100-6433613" he called it "Deuvo" :haha:
@snugglebear: Actually, Speed mainly involved a bus with a planted bomb on it and iirc the bus had to stay over 55MPH because if it went under, it would blow up, killing all the passengers inside. There was a motive behind it all, and I wouldn't say that that movie had no story. It was actually a pretty badass original movie. Speed 2 on the other hand. Unless you're talking about a different movie with the same name.
Leaderboards are for suckers, a waste of dev time and should never be taken seriously. There are numerous games where players cheated their way to the top, and devs don't bother to moderate it. In other words, there are absolutely no consequences.
