@b00me: they may not announce anything new, but I can hope they will!

PUBG will have enhancements for the 1X right away, at least that was my understanding. At the very least it will look better. I'm in Canada though, and I forgot about the exchange rate. $499 seems ok, $599, not so much!

@caseyrybek: All will be forgiven with "We are here to announce that your Fuzion Frenzy backwards compatible copy will be free with a pre order of Fuzion Frenzy for X1".

I can't believe they have let that IP sit for so long.

@b00me: I am dissapointed as well with what has benn announced, but still optimistic. I am hoping that a couple of more exclusives get announced at Gamescom.

I feel like we are just in a couple years of gap, where they shelved the stuff that didn't make sense or wasn't turning out well (scalebound).

I will be hopefully be buying the 1X just to play PUBG, anything beyond that is a bonus to me. The support will come.

@RicanV: I also have limited playing time these days. With a young family and different obligations, I'm lucky if I get a few hours during the week to play. Lately, I have been playing almost all BC games. I love being able to jump back in to old games and enjoy them again.

It is definitely a nice feature that I enjoy, but on the flip side, if there were more new games I was interested in I may not use the BC functionality as much.

All in all, I am happy with the direction xbox is going. The lack of exclusives has allowed me to enjoy some of the gems from my past! I guess I am the 5%!

@asnakeneverdies: yea, a 6 seems low. But I've started to look at reviews differently. I'll play anything 4 or higher if it interests me. As others have stated, one persons 6 is another's 8 or 9. I get why people see review scores as so important, but it'd be nice if we didn't.

Here is my conversion system:

1-3: free or close to it, you're totally bored with everyone else you have

4-6: wait for a good sale, you've got a friend who will play through it with you

7-8: buy now if you have the time and money

9-10: buy now if you have the money, you will find the time

@casshan01: A key feature of EA Access is that no game is ever removed from the vault. This is great for most games, but for sports games, it kind of bloats the list a bit.

I like to look at the list as only including the most recent year of sports titles. When you look at it this way, you only have about 22% of the available games being sports titles. I have included UFC 2, SSX, and Skate 3 as sports titles in that calculation. If you removed those as well as the PGA game, as those don't really get annualized versions, your % of sports titles drops to just over 11%.

Madden 15 was added in March of 2015. While it would now appear that that game has no value to anyone, it was a nice addition to the vault when it was added about 6 months after its initial release.

I have stopped buying sports games since EA Access came out. I now wait for them to hit the vault, which generally occurs about 6 months after release. I've been a subscriber since it came out, so going on 3 years. At $30 a year, I've definitely been able to take advantage of the service.

@pcps4xb: I would love to play all games! Time and money keep me committed to one platform for now. Also, most of my PC is about 8 years old, so it's not really capable of gaming. I can barely stream play my XB1 through the app, it disconnects often. That's on a hardwired connection too. If the Scorpio doesn't do it for me, then I'll upgrade my PC!

@pcps4xb:

I agree, PS4 definitely has the more robust line up. As an Xbox gamer, it is getting a bit sad seeing all the games I can't play :(

@CyberEarth: I will admit, I love the BC on my Xbox. Helps me cope with the lack of first party games :p.
