@Fia1: I would argue against them not caring for PC users, as that is basically the entirety of their user base.

I'm not sure I see what they are trying to do as a bad thing, there is always miss steps when rolling out a new platform. I understand peoples view of gaming under a MS umbrella with how past programs have turned out. Maybe I just like being optimistic with it working out.

Spencer has stated that he wants to co exist and compliment the Steam platform, so I think they know what they have to do to be successful for themselves and the consumer (history shows us what they wont do again). As long as they are constantly updating and improving, which they have stated they are doing, then I'm ok supporting the platform. I enjoy the cross buy features rolling out and device wide apps (though these need ALOT of improvement) .

Side bar, maybe this is them trying to pull console gamers over to PC? People seem to be saying these things are bad for PC gamers, but maybe the focus isn't necessarily on them, more-so on combining the two groups, with upgradable console talk etc.

@Fia1: I really don't see how this is any different then what Apple does with their app store. They control it all, you have to submit the apps to them. They pull stuff all the time that they don't think is good enough or right for their platform.

Maybe because I don't do a lot of PC gaming, I don't really see this as a bad thing. I like the idea of an App being able to work on my phone/tablet/pc and xbox without having to download or purchase a different version. Am I missing something here? Companies want to make money, it's what they do, without money, there is no company. Then there is no game or app or platform to complain about not having.

Phil Spencer said they were working to make things better. Let's give them the chance!

@domiddian: While I agree with you that a whole release catalogue should be considered, I would then ask if you would count all the backwards compatible titles that are now on my xbox one hard drive? I see as much value in those as I do a remaster release. Better yet, I didn't have to pay anything for them. Even if a remaster has improved visuals, I would put it in the same category as the backward compatible titles.

In regards to X1 remasters not being singled out in the same way as the PS4's. Remember the disaster that Halo: MCC was? It was nearly unplayable for months, so bad that I got Microsoft to refund my digital purchase! I think people pretty much universally agree on how badly that game was handled.

This years X1 titles were better for me, but looking at next years line up, I'm more excited about PS4. Horizon: Zero Dawn in particular!

@epobirs I saw that one too. It is alot nicer as it has 2 usb ports on the front of it which are way easier than the side one. It holds a 2.5" drive. I ended up getting a portable drive though because it was on sale.
