@westsiderz28: I think at the least, they will be forced in to it by this new Microsoft feature. As a console gamer, I love that going forward, all my X1 titles will work. I know PC you can do that almost as far back as you can think, but I like the simplicity of consoles.

@sh0ryuken: I'm almost positive that both of those titles have been GWG in the past year. I haven't bought either, and they are both in my library.

@alien-ouy: I think this is why they are moving to the unified platform. Xbox games on PC, playable on your own rig, built the way you want/can afford. Xbox games on an Xbox console for the people who don't want to build or game on a PC. As long as they can improve the storefront and everything else I've heard negative things about, they will succeed.

They will still have a console for those people who want to game on a console, for everyone else. They can play these games on PC! For now, I will be on a console, maybe one day I will switch over.

@IanNottinghamX: Maybe they will call it the XBOX ONE PLUS? Who knows. I agree though, they need software to sell this thing.

I bet that some form of huge Halo update will drop in time for this. 4 player split screen play, 4k visuals, some other crap.

I mean, exclusively, what else is going to sell this thing? Don't tell me Sea of Thieves in 4k is going to sell it. I really hope they have some tricks up their sleeve!

Yes, I am a bit salty, yes I will probably get this console, yes I will be playing Sea of Thieves in 4k glory. But I'm the exception, not the rule!

@sellingthings: I would assume that he was implying your question was irrelevant as the total includes all user across the platforms. To answer your question, I would say yes, playing a backwards compatible title on the X1 counts as an xbox 360 log in. When you are playing a game, the 360 dashboard can be pulled up as an overlay.

Not saying I am right, but i would bet it counts to the xbox 360 log in.

The next question is, do they count a 360 log in and a X1 log in seperately? Or is this an active UNIQUE user list? I don't see it specified anywhere. I for one have logged in on all 3 platforms within the last month.

@snaketus: I would say that this is not the reason. The Scorpio should have been able to make this title look great, with a downgraged version playable on the original X1. The only reason for this cancellation has to have been related to gameplay performance or story. I could be wrong, but that's the way I read it.

@gotrekfabian: Yea, the only way I see it selling well is if the multi platform titles look WAY better than on the PS4 Pro. Even then, who knows.

I don't have a 4K tv yet and I assume most console gamers don't either at this point. I just bought a new TV a few years ago, sucks that I will need to upgrade it to enjoy the graphical enhancements made with these new machines.

@titang1: God of War, I never really was able to get in to for what ever reason. Scalebound was on my radar, but after seeing the gameplay at E3 I was no longer excited. I saw someone else comment the same thing. Maybe MS recognized that it was going to be a dud and pulled the pin?

Crackdown should be great, and Sea of Thieves has me excited, but that's all MS has for exclusives that I am interested in. Not nearly enough to justify buying a new console. Cuphead should be good, but half the exclusives they confirmed for this year could be considered "Indie" titles.

As much as I enjoy my xbox, I can't help but feel left out on the software side. I love all the TV integration and to a lesser extent the snap mode of the X1, but they just spend too much time and money on developing and pushing these features. If they would have left all that out and just focused on system power and software, then added that stuff in later, these exclusive lists would probably be more balanced. My 2cents at least.

@titang1: As an xbox user, this list does leave me envious! Excited for the Scoprio, but unless MS has a couple of launch exclusives, I will most likely hold off and get a PS instead. Horizon: Zero Dawn is the one I am most excited for on this list.

@davillain-: I agree that there is no reason to single out TLG on this list. As an xbox fan boy, I have to say I am irrationally satisfied that it was below Dead Rising, considering the reviews the 2 games have been getting it is a surprise. I wont be buying Dead Rising, and I do wish I could have bought TLG! Sadly not enough time or money to justify 2 consoles. I ill say, the first party line up is looking unbelievable on PS. Maybe after Christmas I'll take the plunge.
