I'm Curious how the title makes any sense considering it has an 85 on Metacritic and one "Dumpster Fire" review of someone who hated it. Everything seems pretty positive even for its obvious flaws.

Sounds just like a lot of angry fanboys upset Sony has been doing so well this gen and have even more great games lined up next year... Not sure where/how Sony is failing at the end of the gen but just seems like a lame attempt at trying to discredit a Company that has been doing everything right for gamers...

Whatever happened to NYADC who used to rage at anything and everything Sony, must have broke his heart seeing a Sony Exclusive win GOTY!!!

PS4 Delivered everything I wanted this gen:

-Indie support (so i can play games typically I would previously only find on steam)

-Single Player Focused - I no longer want to play online games, PS4 has delivered great Single player games in spades.

-No hardware issues: Very few issues with the hardware itself, no issues after a few power-outs and son pulling on cable while PS4 was still on...

-Headphone jack in controller: I typically game after my wife and son go to bed, the headphone jack in the controller is awesome, I love this feature this gen.

-UI is awesome, love the navigation menu

-Apps like Netflix work great, no issues

Only thing as has been mentioned is the battery life on the controller sucks. Using the headphone jack I maybe get 5-6 hours tops.

Xbox fans are pathetic, can't handle that Sony dominated sales this year, is the console of choice and Sony has all the momentum heading into the next gen.

From what I read its also extremely easy even on the hard difficulty, no challenge at all an no requirement to have to modify your deck at all to play through the entire campaign (even on hard). That makes me want to pass when it comes to PS4 next month unless they fix that and add some challenge to the game...

stop worrying about why everyone doesnt game on PC and just enjoy your pc gaming. Master Race PC gamers are the worst. Post your screenshots of your rig online, get people to shower you with adoration (because you know you cant just game, you need people to see the money you spent and show off) and have a good life!

Purpose? Never, PC will always serve the purpose of being the open-source, best spot to play gaming with the biggest, most diverse and best overall library of games you could have. Free online/multiplayer is nice too :). For me, it has lost some of the advantages it used to have that would have swayed me from current gen consoles back to PC gaming. I love indie games/rogue-likes-rogue-lites (Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Enter the Gungeon, Darkest Dungeon, Bad North, Celeste etc...) And I have been very happy with the fact that consoles this gen, especially PS4 has done a great job of getting games that would previously only be playable on PC to get a console release.

How is it a win for xbox that the majority of gamers will be on Sony/PS4 to play this game and the majority of xbox gamers will be playing the worst version?

Its not all bad PS4/Ps4Pro or Xbox S users as per that article :):

Suffice to say, regardless of console choice (One x / ps4 / pro / x1x) people will have a great experience with this game.
