@alex-willoz @blackace What didn't help Microsoft was every last 360 red ringing. It suffered from an over 50% fail rate. When they announced their new 3 year warranty plan within one week alone Microsoft had spend a billion dollars. Sony has money to launch a console, the vita didn't bankrupt them, that is the dumbest thing I have heard. They are waiting one year after Microsoft to see what they do first. It's wise of them, because Japanese developers are losing a lot of sales to western developers.
I don't see la-z-boy trying to stop Craig's List from selling second hand furniture, or auto makers shutting their cars off the second they get to Carmax...why are video game companies the only companies that exude greed and clearly wanna bone the gamers. Don't they realize that a lot of those new game purchases were because someone sold old games to buy the new one? It sickens me that they really think they are going to make more money this way and it can't be farther from the truth. Let's take the car analogy...I own a Lexus IS300, when that car first hit market it was 35,000 plus dollars. Do you think I had that money? No! I had 22,000 dollars and that's how much I paid when I bought it USED. Maybe Lexus didn't make money off that specific purchase, but they already made money off that car! What the owner does with the car is no longer Toyotas business! Same thing goes here...we buy used games because they are cheap, or the game got crummy reviews and so we don't feel like paying a full 60 for the game. Cant they see that nobody has the money to buy brand new alllll the time? They should focus on bad ass DLC so if someone does buy the game used, they will purchase DLC and that's free and easy money.
@Jonny-Two-Delta @XCyberForceX Glad I read your post about following the talent. I was a comic lover when I was a kid, and now at 28 I find myself wanting to get back into them...problem is, my go-to comics just look sooooo boring right now. Wolverine, spider man, x men, none of my old favorites was able to get me back into it and I felt like maybe I had just outgrown them...the catch is, I would skip the DC cuz I was never a fan of much of their stuff. Now I wanna go back to my local book store and give those books a shot.
I'm sure most of you guys (or gals) know this by now, but just in case you don't; If you're upset with Diablo 3, then check out Torchlight 2. It's only 20 bucks and it's made by a few of the same people behind the first two Diablo's. It's more robust in every way, the only thing that might turn off some is the graphics don't look gritty like Diablo. It's more of a World of Warcraft type style. Still looks fantastic in my opinion, I just noticed some people complaining about the art style so I thought I'd address it. Anybody else playing T2? Thoughts?
@zfazal84 Moronic only if you plan on using it every month. I realize I am in the minority, but I only want to play online about once a month. If that. The few times I do, I don't want to pay a yearly sixty and to be honest I don't even want to pay ten dollars for just a days worth of gaming. I'm not trying to be difficult, I do enjoy playing halo online. And I do own a Xbox and enjoy it. But once I found I can play all third party games for free on psn and not worry about a sub fee, my Xbox gathers dust. But everybody is differ and so I know my way is not the ultimate way or how an average gamer may see things.
