Just a quick question, don't know if this is the right place to put it. Currently I'm looking for a site that users can input reviews and rankings for games into from a profile, similar to the set up here, but with more of a feel similar to sites like the movie rankings site Criticker. Basically a site that is more focused on users rather than critics. Ideally the rankings system should allow rankings out of 100 or equivalent, but it's not entirely essential as long as it isn't too limiting. Now I know about all the obvious places such as IGN, GameRankings, Gamespot (duh) and the like but they really offer something else from what I'm thinking of. I don't know if a place like this even exists, but any ideas would be appreciated.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure. It's been a very long time since a game has really impressed me graphically. I think the best I've played would have to go to Assasins Creed.

To be honest the whole WiiWare system is an absolute rip-off, the ratings deserve to be knocked down a bit for that. The only decently priced item in the whole of the Wii Shop is the Internet Channel, and even that doesn't work well all the time.

Got good hopes for this looking at those screenshots. I hope it plays similarly to an upgraded and updated version of Sim City 3000, the only version I've played, if so I'll be getting it for sure.

It is collecting dust at the moment but there are quite a few previous releases I haven't played yet, namely Metroid Hunters, LoZ: Phantom Hourglass and New Super Mario Bros, so I won't be selling it just yet. My PSP has been left for even longer, but I still play demos and watch videos on it sometimes.

Depends how tight your budget is, but to be honest it doesn't look all that great. That LG mentioned previously is good though, it first caught my eye when I saw it featured in Computeractive magazine. Hoping to get one myself, or something similar.

I've tried emulation once before in the past but I've found it to be an unreliable mess for the mostpart, so I refrain from usuing it. Along with that my computer is on the blink, so I don't think it would really cope all that well. On top of that I'd rather not spend much money on the Wii VC, partly because they have a limited number of titles available, partly because it's a total rip-off. Anyway, thanks for the advice. I'll try cleaning out the insides the best I can when I have the chance and see what happens then. Fingers crossed!

I didn't know where to look first, so I thought I'd ask around here at the same time as breaking my many months of total inactivity. My N64 seems to have suddenly stopped working over the 6 months since I last used it. It hasn't been damaged at all, it's just been sat around in a cupboard doing nothing. Today I connected it up as usual but when I switched on the power it remained dead, no lit red LED at the front or anything. I've tried changing the fuse, using different sockets, moving the power pack around in the socket to try and get a better connection, quickly cleaning the connectors and taking controllers / cartridges in and out but nothing has worked so far. Just wondering if anyone had any idea of what the problem might possibly be, or have had this happen to them. It's looking more and more like the thing is dead for good though, I checked to see whether the power was actually reaching the console properly and it is, so it does seem to be some kind of internal hardware failure. Although I'm still hoping that it isn't, not given up hope yet!
