The main problem with PC games is that, compared to consoles, it is much easier to get your hands on games illegaly. No chips and stuff needed. Sometimes it is even more convinient to play games cracked because of some crazy locks that come up from time to time. For example, some games wouldn't play if your PC had a CD-R.

That is one of the many reasons why many console games never get a PC edition. Also why a company would prefer to make a game for a console and not for the PC.
That is also, is one of the reasons why multiplayer games are blooming. If you pay, you play (the way it should be for the other games too).

I would like to see a sequel/remake of the not so forgotten StarCraft and The Longest Journey.
If it must be forgotten then Populous: the Beginning.

C&C Red Alert series...
C&C Generals feels it was created to be played on multiplayer and that the single player campaign was without purpose.

The first three that come come to my mind (in no random order):
1) The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
2) Diablo 2
3) Baldur's Gate 2

:o You haven't played diablo yet?
Stop reading and go buy it...
No seriously, excelent games if you don't mind a bit clicking.
And the expansions (especially for the second) feel like a new game, so getting all of them is the best way to go.

I am 21ish, been playing since the early 90's.
Most people as grow older play less games but become more picky.
At least me and my friends do.
