MS learned from the 360, so much they over compensated. So much so the Xbox 1 is the size of a old school vcr that's well ventilated with a huge fan. It's also designed to operate as a companion to your cable. With that in mind its ment to stay on all day and runs cool and quiet. No need to mod the hardware it will handle normal gaming needs without issue.

I spent hours and hours playing gears 1. I think I've clocked more multiplayer time in gears one then any other game I've ever played.

I feel the same about games as well, I don't play multiplayer games anymore, i don't have the time or interest anymore. I love Single player story driven games, I also have never finished a gta game besides gta 5.

I'm going to point you to a few open world games that are great that I finished. These games are open world in the traditional sense, but the way you get to the missions is structured in a way that's easy to follow and finish the game.

First game is gta 5, the assassins creed 4, shadow of Mordor, far cry 4, and Batman Arkham night. All of these games are open world do as you please games, but the way the missions are structured its easy to follow a singular path and complete the main story. I finished all of these games, they all have that great singil player story and play experience. I want to add Alien isolation which is more a linear story but also great.

I've never been one to compleat a big open world game, in gta I would just rampage and never do any of the story missions. All of these games i completed and each had a story that made me want to finish the. game.

At 43'' you won't be able to see much improvement on a 4k tv. I have two 4k tvs a samsung 55'' and 50'' vizio p series. Once you get past the initial ooh and awh stage, it becomes just a tv. These tvs don't look much if any better then my 1080p tvs. 4k tvs are better severed for 55'' and bigger, with that said 4k tvs are getting cheaper as we speak. So go 4k if it's in the size and price you want, just don't expect to be blown away by it.

Smartphones is the number one reason. Everyone has one, they all play games at a low cost to free. The handheld market for a device that solely plays games is a small nich place Nintendo dominates. The vitia was a failure at launch at a high price hard to overlook.

When you've got a smartphone with dam near unlimited access to low cost and free games. A vita starting at $250, another $40 for a memory card you will need with games coming at $40, the vita is a hard sell. Nintendo has and keeps the handheld marketplace, as the people that love that wil keep buying and replacing and upgrading with whatever Nintendo 3dsplus plus they come out with.

Both endings are all over YouTube. I've beat the game but am far from 100%, I've also watched both endings and for me the time and effort isn't worth the ending. I love story driven single player games, but I find now days i play games on easy setting just to get through and experience the story.

Playing on easy is something I would've considered cheating in my younger days. I work have a wife and kids so my game time is limited. So for me the time and effort isn't worth it, if you have the time and are a game completionist type then it may be worth it to you.

I got the game at launch and never really played it. I loved black flag but was turned off from unity. I forgot I even had it, I'll have to give it a go once I'm done with batman.

@The_Last_Ride: you are right gameplay > graphics. I was hyped when they showed this game years ago, I've wanted this game forever, I got to the point I forgot about it. Then it showed up and all those years of hype and buildup was deflated when they showed it.

I wondered if anyone else felt the way I did. The game still looks good but dated to me. Other then that I'm still going to buy it anyways. I the gameplay and experience of it is really what's most important at the end of the day. It just E3 has always been more of a gfx wow factor showcase type show. We get games like watchdogs that blow you away gfx wise then ship at a lower quality. I can respect them for showing the game as is I suppose.

@The_Last_Ride: I agree to a point, if this is going to be a full retail ps4 game then I expect a level of quality gfx wise. If this game is going to be a cheaper indie game then I'd be more forgiving gfx wise. The point is this is a first party ps4 game that has been in development for 8 years. The point to me is I was less then impressed by what they had to show. I was expecting to be blown away but I was more like meh.

@ribstaylor1: on those 120/240hz tvs you lose motion resolution with it turned off. So for sports it helps clear the image for fast moving non film broadcast.

Having motion interpolation turn on is bad for gaming. With the 120/240 tech turned on it introduces input lag. All that extra processing takes time and just causes lag, the last thing you want for gaming.
